As a Tex-Mex expert from Austin, Texas - now living in Beijing - I have the authority to review Peter's Tex-Mex Grill.
Atmosphere - Tex Mex like - very good
Tortillas- Real flour tortillas - outstanding
Shredded chicken- tasty and flavorful- needs more cumin- very healthy portion inside the Chicken burritos. I prefer the tortillas to be stuffed with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, beans, and rice- Different restaurants do it differently. This place only puts the meat inside the tortilla. It was up to me to open it up and pack it full.
Refried beans- very tasty- I bet they even have lard in them - yummy!
Iced tea- They have iced tea!
Chips and salsa- I did not have them this time. I will definitely go back to have chips and salsa
Very healthy portion size-
- priced reasonably- My meal - burrito dinner and iced tea - lunch date had a stuffed chicken breast, toast, and a milkshake - total bill was 157 rmb- We left very full and satisfied
The restaurant was difficult to find. It is directly behind the Sizzler on Ritan Rd west of the Silk Market
Excellent and friendly service too!

I will definitely go back and bring my Texas friends.
