Union Bar & Grille offers a solid dining experience, especially for anyone craving authentic American food, including Sunday brunch. Salads are fresh and tasty, and anything with beef is excellent. I don't eat eggs Benedict but my friends who do say theirs is the best for the money in Beijing.

The restaurant is kid-friendly for parents, and the bar is welcoming in the evening. Only criticism is that the service can be inconsistent. Overall, a good value, especially considering the ridiculous prices at Blue Frog nearby, and worth a visit. Union also offers stable Wi-Fi and 20 RMB bottomless coffee or iced tea for those who like a third place to work.
