Hands down my favorite spot in Beijing. The Bookworm is huge and their library is quite impressive. If you become a member, you can check out books (like a library), which is well worth it if you live close by and read a lot. It's also about the only place in town you can find many new releases and non-bootlegged copies (though of course you also have to pay the non-bootlegged price for them).

Love to go there on the weekends and just sit and read or write with a cup of tea or a smoothie. I have also been to some of their events with guests and authors speaking, which are generally interesting and enjoyable. Very bummed I was out of town during the Beijing Literary Festival as they had many great authors in town and interesting and relevant topics.

Haven't tried their food so can't comment on that aspect, but if you're looking for a hard-to-find book or a good place to get some work done, this is it!
