Beijing's National Theater is a really cool building and is close enough to walk from Tiananmen Square. I spent about an hour here and was able to walk around and see a lot of pictures and costumes. The shows looked like the ranged in price from quite cheap to very expensive. A lot of the doors were locked inside preventing us from seeing much of the actual theater. I would love to return to watch a show or opera. Check this out if you are looking for something to do near central Beijing.
