Quanjude has some very nice kaoya! Always get a good bit of meat and skin in each bite and the flavor is pretty decent. Personally I'd prefer it to be a little oilier but that is just because I'm a bit of a glutton. As far as being the absolute best in Beijing being as famous as it is and I think there are definitely more contenders for best duck than people think. I would love either some very experienced duck eaters to have a blind taste test of Beijing’s ducks to determine the best. Or get some d*ckhead professional judge like Simon Cowell to put it under a microscope so it can legitimately be the best in Beiijng.
