It can be fun the first time you take friends here and they wonder how in the hell you discovered this spot, but while the courtyard is a very beautiful spot to enjoy a meal on a day with decent weather, the food here falls short of what it used to be. Portions tend to be on the small side, meaning that every time I'm there, even if its not with a group of big eaters, we end up ordering 2 or 3 extra dishes, putting this place on the expensive end of the spectrum when it comes to Yunnan food. It's not that the food is bad, its decent overall, but with so many better, cheaper Yunnan options (including a new spot that's also in a courtyard), my days of going to Dali are probably over.
