Review of Bar Blu
Friends and I went here to hang out and get some drinks. Another friend and I had bought some RMB 3 beers from outside before coming in. They do have a policy of no outside drinks in the place which is fine, but the lady working in the bar just came over and snatched the beers away from us and threw them away and proceeded to give us this dirty look from hell... no warning no nothing. My friend was even in the middle of drinking his when it happened. I understand they have this policy so that we'd buy drinks from them, but our other friends had already been ordering drinks from them, and the lady just took it too far by not even warning or asking us as is usually the case at other bars. Will never ever go back.

I understand your unhappy with them not warning you; however, you brought in drinks that they did not sell. This leads them to be liable for you, your behavior and it's just plain rude on your part to bring cheap, unclean (possibly fake) beer from outside.
Your friends were drinking drinks from Bar Blu, but you didn't have one. In that case, you have no rights to complain and should not insult them with your low class behavior.
I agree that Bar Blu has a crappy, rude staff and do not like this place but if you came into my place doing that, I'd not only take your drink but kick your ass out

Completely agree with chinpokomaster05, they were well within their rights to take your drink and ban your asses. What kind of cheapskate thinks it's acceptable behaviour to take drinks you've bought outside into a licensed establishment? The bar staff would throw you out in the majority of bars in London, Rome, Paris or anywhere else in the world.

You got what you deserved, policy is policy for bars anywhere in the world. You screwed up by trying to be a cheapskate by bringing in your own booze. Stop being such a scrooge. Bar Blu is already cheaper on the drinks than most places, its not expensive compared to Xiu, Suzie Wong's, etc.
If dont want to spend the money on drinks at a bar, then drink on the street before you go in, or better yet drink at home.

we had experience with their unfriendly staff and manager. we, about 7 - 9 people, were there at a big table drinking, then the staff came to tell us that we had to move to another table because a bigger group came and they needed a table! we tried to argue with them not to move, but they didn't serve us anything after we tried to stay! It was ridiculous. This bar used to be one of our favorite bars, but not anymore. After that day, we never went back again.
Also, one of our neighbors told us that he saw some high school students were allowed to get in the bar....
