worst service ever.
Totally unprofessional service.
15 days after ordering, the goods are still locked in customs. They don't use any logistics or whatever, they just forward your stuff through DHL, don't even track the packages or provide any help or anything.
Now China customs and DHL try to racket me 1000RMB in customs duty (partly because they overvalued the package), and the only help they propose is to return the goods, at all costs for me of course!
And after being silent during 1 month, while *I* was fighting with DHL, they send a invoice for.... more that what was quoted on the website, of course.
That looks like a non serious business done on spare time to me, and their website is the worst site ever.
I will never use it again, and recommend everyone to stay clear of them.

Re: worst service ever
Dear Anto1ne,
Let me share with you what we have already discussed through email.
Dong-Xi.com used DHL on a trial run through the month of September. When importing any item into any country, the importer is liable for paying duties. Not in every situation there is a duty, but in yours, there was.
As learned through the month-long DHL trial, their customs handling procedure is different than that of our initial and current logistics provider, USPS.
USPS has a formal working relationship with EMS. This means that the customs process is smoother and most customers find there to be no tax.
We have proudly served hundreds of happy customers throughout the last year. With our reputation of providing a quality service, we have been able to grow and will be releasing a new version of Dong-Xi.com next week--just in time for holiday shopping.

Re: worst service ever.
I understand you may be angry with things that may be Dong-Xi's doing, but it's not reasonable to fault them for customs delays or customs duties! No shipper can guarantee you against those problems. Try DHL or FedEx: they systematically make you pay customs duties and sometimes hold up your package for weeks before even informing you it's stuck in customs.
With Dong-Xi, as when someone sends you a personal package from abroad, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and have to pay up... It's your risk to assume.
I would finally like to disclose that I have no stake in Dong-Xi other than being a 100% satisfied customer who appreciates the service William is providing. I have gotten to know him over the past 7 months and believe he is a totally trustworthy person. To anyone having any doubts, I would be willing to talk with them and share my experience of Dong-Xi with them (one to two packages every month with 0 worries - items included an iPad, iPad cases, an Apple TV, two Kindles, a router, a hard drive, a scanner, leather goods, coats, a fountain pen, etc. etc. and I only paid customs duties once).
