I'll start this off by saying that I had been to Culture Yard once before and had a nice time. However I recently tried to go again with some friends for their Halloween Movie Night event. I RSVPed and they took down my name and phone number, presumably to call me if we didn't show up. I even called back well before the event started to confirm my reservation and change the number of people in our group so as to leave enough room for others. Once we got there, we were turned away at the door because the place was too full. I told them that I had made a reservation and had just called a few hours earlier and they told me that they gave up our seats because it was too busy. No call to check if we were still coming and no apology after the fact. The guy smoking out front acted like it was a major burden to arrange any extra room for us inside and we were pretty turned off by that point so we left. It's a shame because it seems like this place puts on decent events. Hopefully this is something they'll improve in the future.
