The atmosphere is nice and the service prompt and the burgers are as good as they say. However I felt that they just skimped on the little things. There weren't that many fries on the enormous plate the burger came served on and only; 1 piece of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, 2 slices of onion and 2 slices of gherkin. Come on Hard Rock Cafe for a 125RMB a burger you can do better than that - not really a side salad more a rabbits left overs. The chocolate sundae I ordered was all of 1 blob of ice cream, not really worth the 48RMB.

We spent just over 500RMB for two people and I wasn't that impressed. However I guess it depends on what you want, there was a live band, they did play requests, the atmosphere is definitely unique. Also I live and work in beijing so perhaps my budget is not what a visiting tourist's would be. Ultimately it's the Hard Rock Cafe not a local noodle shop so you can;t expect noodle shop prices.

I'm gonna list prices as I looked on the net before and couldn't really find any indication so for anyone who wants to know and at the time of writing; around 200RMB+ for a steak, most mains are between 100-200RMB, drinks cost a good deal, cocktails are around 100RMB and you'll pay 32RMB for a soda, deserts are around 50RMB.
