Bucuo - not bad
Weekday lunch buffet for 48 RMB is bucuo. Nice salad and other selections. Not bad. Better value than Element Fresh around the corner, in my opinion. I ordered hamburger for an extra 20 RMB though, and it was way undercooked - raw in the middle. Having lived here for a while, I accepted it as part of a typical China restaurant experience and just made a note to never order the hamburger there again. I've learned there is usually no point in trying to explain or argue with anyone. We are, after all, a tiny minority of mostly uncultured, illiterate migrant workers here, so why should we expect any more respect than that group typically receives in our home countries?

Re: Bucuo
Speak for yourself.
Last I checked the above mentioned was unacceptable, even for "migrant workers" in my home country.
Are you from N.Korea?
A raw burger is not a typical Beijing experience, not anymore at least.
There are many places these days (including several within walking distance of Eudora) that do a fine burger.
If no one ever complained, argued or tried to change the standards here, they would be the same as they were 10 years ago.
Not sure if the burger you mentioned was at Element Fresh or Eudora.
Either way enjoy your raw food and shitty service.
