Review of The World of Suzie Wong Club
The place is much better than I visited last year. I guess a dedicated effort by the club is getting better
in service. Drink quantity is better when you order shots or cocktails . And of course they are managing to get some bigger groups which make the club lively.
But its good only after 1130 pm.
But it is definately better than the most average neighbourhood bars like Irish volunteer or paddys where the crowd is 40 plus and unexciting .The environment, the pubgrub, the people the service is surely much better here than the Irish volunteer or paddys or lugas.You feel good at suzie wong.

We "the 40 plus" are okay with being unexciting as you call us. Good conversations without music blaring at us so that we have to shout at each other and some drinks without being hassled by hookers is also okay with us. We might just call you uninteresting and shallow and if you can't write a review about one place without talking bad about others or insulting a group of people who would probably not even take you seriously (which might just have happened and that is the reason for your bitterness) than you shouldn't write at all. Just a thought, boy!

I agree with the "40 plus" crowd. A bar is a bar and a club is a club. Some light music is ok, but I shouldn't have to shout over the music to have a discussion with my friends.
What's with these bar-clubs in China? It should be one or the other. I guess since Suzie Wong's name has "Club" in it, loud music should be expected.
And everyone going to Suzie's knows prostitutes might be there.
