I used to volunteer at culture yard and was able to work closely with the staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and it was truly a great experience being able to interact with people from so many diverse backgrounds. During my time at the yard, I felt at home working in such a relaxed environment with an amiable group of people. There is a lot of emphasis placed teacher-student interaction and besides learning the language, there are many cultural activities within the Yard every week. It is a fun and active environment that is hard to fine in many language centers within Beijing.
