Our Sunday evening at Nearby the Tree was the most unpleasant experience I have had at any bar in Beijing. We will not be going back and I strongly recommend you don't bother either.

A couple of rude and unnecessary warnings from the staff about their pool table descended into farce when a ball was accidentally dropped on the floor. They demanded 5RMB compensation and when we complained the kitchen staff started arguing with the girls in our group, and when I stood up to defend them they tried to start a fight with me!

Summary: rude staff, a good night spoiled, I won't be going back, zero out of ten.

i do have to say that the westerners whom manage the bar, or the one's being an idiot behind it, are as helpful as a pile of sh*t. and without saying, we have never been back in support of westerner losers living in beijing cause they thing they're cool..

Stop trawling these boards in the Western Bar section then you weak c**t.
Either name yourself and pick a location where we can meet and f-ing slog this out or shut the f*** up.
