Review of The Kro's Nest
1. Bad servers who didn't know how to call on someone else who speaks english.
2. Fries cooked on the outside.. still soggy and UNCOOKED on the inside(food poisoning much?).
3. Terrible managers that handle situations like they're HIGH and walk away without a resolution.
4. Pizza Cones still cold and not thoroughly cooked or at least warmed.
5. Root Beer Float? Seriously? They should be ashamed!
6. Messy Menu. Who did they hire to design that piece of crap?
My first time there and I'm never going back.
My friend lost face bringing me there, gushing about the pizza before we entered.
Do not bother spending the money to get food poisoning and a bad taste in your mouth after.
Rubbish.
I'm only giving one star for the Strawberry Milkshake.

Wouldn't uncooked fries be crunchy and not soggy? Being as that's how potatoes are when raw...
Also eating a pizza "cone"? What are you, 10 years old?

Hehe, yeah uncooked fries would be crunchy if they were made by cutting sticks from actual potatoes. But alas, such luxuries are only available at maison bouloud type joints. Otherwise french fries are made from potato powder or mash with additives to make them stick together. Then deep frozen and then straight into the fryer. Which means if you dont heat enough theyll just be a soggy goo.

I have to say, I had virtually the exact same experience there only very recently. The servers were completely unable to say anything coherent about the food, and the menu is already hard to see, and the photos useless. And I speak Chinese just fine.
I was basically just given something that I didn't even really know what it was (pizzas with something very garlicky on it, who knows) and it was not very good.
I tried asking the waiter (the men waiters all just seem to stand around with nothing to do but chat with each other-why they like men waiters so much?)what can one person order and he just essentially said no.
I don't think I would go back-although the interior is interesting.
