On a double date last Saturday night we went to The Beach. The air was nice so we decided to check it out. When we showed up we were greeted by a women who asked us if we wanted to sit down. We said yes there were 4 of us. 1500 kuai minimum. We thought we heard wrong. We didn't. So, we stood up at the bar and had 40 kuai beers for an hour and left. If you have a big group who can entertain themselves and the air is nice, it might be fun. Mostly its just an expensive lounge with sand, the music is ok but mostly just background noise. Also, when we went to the restroom with one stall for women and one for men, we were informed that the sink had "mei you shui". No water, or barely any to wash your hands. Didn't dislike it, there was good people watching, but it the alcohol was expensive and some bar stools would have been nice.
