Review of Dali Courtyard
Tried to book a party here and manager quoted me a price which tripled within 2 days. Owner then told me she could charge whatever she wanted because she's very popular with foreigners and hung up on me. Twice! Horrible, abusive people and overrated food. Go elsewhere.

Curious, did you want food arranged? And did you change your choice 2 days before the event? If this is the case it can be difficult for an establishment to make last minute changes as they have to order in food 2 days prior to check availability and prep.
But on the other hand the manager seemed to handle the situation poorly. To charge triple is crazy (esp. if it's due to the above circumstance).

Didn't ask for food, and called 3 weeks in advance of the date to book. Made absolutely no changes to the original request when I called to confirm (2 days after first call, but still 3 weeks ahead of event), but they obviously had decided they could get more money. Very unprofessional and unbelievably rude.
