Decided to finally try the food. The restaurant with messy with boxes everywhere. Looked like moving day. Like all Hard Rocks they are overpriced. I expected that but not a 15% Service Charge. I asked my waitress if it was for her. She laughed and said it was for the government. I asked to speak to the manage. And met the duty manager. He wasn't quite sure of the reason they charge it. He finally said it was because the restaurant had to pay the Chinese Government. I explained that I go to American restaurants here in Beijing and are not charged a service fee. So he was at a loss.

The food wasn't the best. They gave me a side of beans with my meal that was not fully cooked. Also a very small order of fries that were good but very small portion.

Well I got the Hard Rock out of the way as one of the places to visit in Beijing!!
