B-class Teppanyaki at sky high prices
Let me summarize it: Do Not Go.
I went to eat Seijo since my all-time-favorite Kagen was (again) full on Saturday evening. Seijo is a new restaurant and looks quite fancy with bit bit pricey menu. But that is where the similarities to high-class teppanyaki-restaurants end. Dish after dish we got horrible, mediocre dishes made of second-class ingredients mixed with sauces prepared with just bad taste. This restaurant cannot compete even all-you-can-eat-169RMB-Tairyo or similar ones. I have eaten in 5 different teppanyaki places in BJ and this was the low-point. But not cheap!
I have no business affiliation with competing teppanyaki-restaurants and if you doubt my judgement, feel free to give it a try, but I would rather eat at Tairyo and give the saved money to Unicef. It will at least make you feel better.
