My bf and I went to Pure Lotus Lido branch last friday. The place was busy and it took a while for us to be waited on (had to ask for the menu on 3 occasions with different waiters). We had 4 to 5 dishes and pent 410 kuai. The price is not the issue as it's ok to just have a nice meal once in a while. But the issue is that we both got sick from their food. I ended up throwing up three times. We both had diarrhea. My body was achy and I had fever for 1 day. The perfect start to the weekend after doing over time an entire week (F*ck).

I called them back on Monday (I had to take the day off work, my fever had just come down) and filled them in on the situation. The person who answered the phone said that he was sorry that the food was not up to my taste. I told him that it has nothing to do with taste, it has to do with sanitation, regardless of whether I liked their food or not one doesn't get fever, diarrhea and vomiting out of the being not being up to my taste. Then he apologized.

Mmmm.. just thinking about what we had that night makes me want to regurgitate... I don't think I could ever go back to Pure Lotus again. Our tummies are still adjusting back to normal. (But I think my bf will give it another chance... POOR SUCKER!!!)
