tried the new ganges at the u-center yesterday and am completely satisfied.

despite the fact that it is still a bit tricky to find it (either take the elevator next to uniqlo outside the u-center to 6th floor or get in, get to the 6th floor and get out to the roof-garden, ganges is the last restaurant on your left), the new location is a huge add to the chain. the interior is new, nice and not overwhelming, so you can concentrate on your food and are not automatically focused on the walls or the lamps. the toilets were clean and in general it's in no way comparable to the old haidian-branch, which had certainly seen better days.

the food-quality has been good, the service extremely friendly and overall a nice experience. taking into account that the restaurant has been packed, i am not alone with my oppinion. as it is now closer to the station, it becomes a nice alternative to the lushs, la bambas and other restaurants.
