Finally went to Haidilao after hearing raving reviews about the service and the food. Indeed, the reviews were consistent with my experience: great service (pre-bussing, multiple hot towels, clean bathrooms, instant refills on drinks, etc.), and the food looked amazing and wasn't too overpriced. The only minor downfalls was waiting for an hour an a half on a Thursday night at a less popular branch, so expect to wait, even if it's not the weekend. Also, expect to spend 60rmb or more a person: not your cheapest hotpot in town, but the quality food makes up for the expense, and the restaurant is certainly worth a try for the experience. Would recommend for a special occasion, and that you should have someone go ahead of time and take a number while the rest of your party arrives.
