Review of Pyro Pizza

My first time in Pyro Pizza was amazing. 49 RMB for a buffet lunch? Awesome! After getting over the buffet ordeal, I started ordering every Thursday since it was order a large pizza for the price of a medium. Not bad at all for the price.

But after exploring more of Wudakou then rest of the city, I slowly started to realize, what was that crap I used to eat?! Pyro Pizza is incredibly oily and the crust most of the time ends soggy and flopping over your plate. After discovering The Red House in Wudaokou and trying out Gung Ho in Sanlitun, I'm never coming back to Pyro ever again.

You know what bugs me about these reviews that start 'Used to love, but...'? Where were all the good reviews when you 'loved' the place? This isn't even a negative review, it just says you found places you prefer so giving them 1 star for that is a bit harsh.

People are too quick to jump on the negative bandwagon, bunch of whiners.

dude you probably ate it too much and got sick of it. I should try red house though.

But I still think pyro is way better than crows nest (paid thebeijinger) and gungho.

It's about realizing that there are other better things. It's like discovering McDonalds for the first time and being amazed at their daily specials, but later finding new and better places. Would you still rate McDonalds as high as what you originally had thought?

It's a newbie mistake, like plenty of other restaurants. Judging for their delivery service, prices and taste, Pyro is not what it's cracked up to be.
