What Type of Place Is This Now????
When I first came to Beijing just over a year ago, my boyfriend and I used to come here for their happy hours, of which were decent, mostly for the price.
This past Saturday, we were out with a group of friends and around 1am or 2am we decided we would stop by there. Only to ask myself what in the world happened to this place?? What type of place is this???
A girl (foreigner) at the bar that our friend was talking to asked him to pay her for the night. Further another friend ours was talking to a guy (foreigner), who asked her if she was a professional and how much she charges!!!
WHAT IS THIS PLACE????? I will give the bar owners the benefit of the doubt and say they most likely arent aware of what is going on in their bar.But they should and take care of it. It is not only sad to see that this is allowed, but also that this is what foreigners think of China. Needless to say, we will never go there again.

Well when I was in Nanjing I went to the bathroom and in the back was a full fledged whore house. Additionally when ever I go to any bar in Sanlitun there is always girls looking to charge for the night.
So I guess the opinion came from experience I guess. I know I never seen these things when I was in the US.
But I do not think its bad, I feel China is more liberated and free in that sense.

Oh yeah.. I was there on that night and I can tell.
It was a bunch of Spanish morons who were completely drunk. I was walking by and they stopped me and started a fuss out of nothing.
Well, there was a guy talking to them (apparently wasn't a nice conversation) right before I pass through, so they mixed things up and thought that I was that guy.
I tried to tell that Spanish midget who was shouting that I'm not his guy, but he kept teasing. I had to punch him for self defense, then we walked out and it was a nice show.
When the security guards kicked them out, there was a fish shouting: "he asked me for prostitution", then I finally understood the whole thing but I had to answer: "wasn't me, b****"!
Please note: During the whole boxing scene, I was trying to tell them that I'm the wrong guy, but they kept shouting in Spanish like whores!
Oh no! These douchebags are your friends!!

While the Spanish morons might have been drunk, the girls definitely were not. And yes, one guy passed through before you. He only asked which country we were all from. Quite nice as compared to your conversation with my friend.
My friend who you asked if she was a professional and how much her services cost never gets drunk. Obviously judging by the the manner you speak, it is not worth delving into. When you ask a girl who is with her boyfriend for prostitution, you can expect for a big "fuss to be made out of nothing"

Fair enough. You were definitely sober since you don't even remember that I AM THE GUY WHO WAS PASSING BY but I didn't talk to any of you. There was another guy talking to your friends. WASN'T ME!!
And don't you judge my manner of speak. Just teach your friends how to speak (English preferred).
P.S. You kids should slow down drinking.
