Good enough'ish
Went there with a buddy after hearing and reading that it had the best American food in Beijing and was really looking forward to it after a couple of months on a mostly Chinese diet.
Between us we shared quite a bit of the menu and to be honest - it is what it is , i.e. an attempt at good old fashioned bbq in an Asian capital city thousands of miles away from where we were used to it
We cant it expect it to be 100% but at the same time I imagined the restaurant lay out etc to be a bit 'bigger' i suppose , perhaps if they continue to do well they might consider relocating venu to somewhere a bit easier to get to and a more spacious venue.
Could be better in the Summer but for the moment i wouldnt imagine myself making that trip more than once a month. Nice prices though , except for beer.

I know for a fact that Asahi are 15 rmb, Budweiser are 20 rmb, and I'm pretty sure that Tsingtao draft is 10 or 15...if that's too much for you, drink at home.

I like the venue - I think it's modest and unassuming, considering how great I think the food is (not American before you start bashing me about how authentic it is or isn't). Tsingtao draft is 10RMB but I can't stomach that so opt for an imported Moosehead at 30RMB. Same beer prices as bars in Sanlitun so no quibbles about price. Currently my fave restaurant in Beijing.

Re: Good enough'ish
Tsingtao is 10RMB a draft so not sure what the complaining is about!
I hadn't been here for a while and after earlier complaints about the small portions tried a different approach....
Went for a pulled pork sandwich and a burger but was still left having to order a couple of hot dogs later to fill the gaps. (Hot dogs here are terrible, but of course not really the reason for visiting).
Was interesting to note that the sandwich contained about as much pork as the platter for half the price, so maybe time to double up on them next time!
Nice enough atmospere inside during the winter but a bit too bright and lacking in comfort to be considered 'cosy'.
