Review of Maan Coffee
Didn't know Beijing could do places like this.
Went here late for dessert. Place was packed but its huge and there was plenty of seating.
The waffles are huge and really cheap (28-35 RMB). Good selection of coffee and tea ( try the red ginseng ). You order as soon as you walk in and are then given a coloured teddy bear so the servers can identify you. OK not really my thing and I felt a bit ridiculous as a grown man with a purple teddy in hand but.....the decor is very cool, vintage eclectic seating, moroccan lamps everywhere creating ambient lighting.
Overall very impressed and definitely a good alternative to Starbucks.

I went there for the first time Saturday afternoon and it was packed with a wait for seats. Very reasonably priced and really liked waffles with the ice cream and fruit. For my situation after getting the teddy bear I had to get through the disappointment from my daughter in not getting to keep it.
