Went here on a really cold day this winter. It was nice and warm inside until workmen decided to work on the front door. We moved once to get out of the cold, and then after our meals were delivered were told to move again because of the workmen (although we weren't really in their way). Guess it's not that they repair the front door every day but on a Saturday morning I thought it was a bit weird.
Food was pretty good, though they only give you the tiniest portion of maple syrup to have on your waffles (um.. am I supposed to eat them dry?) When I asked for more the first waitress told me to wait then disappeared for 20 minutes (with no intention of getting me any - I think she had a problem with me getting it for free). So 20 minutes later I asked someone else who said 'Sure' and gave me a second portion. The first waitress saw that happen and looked both unimpressed and embarrassed at the same time.
Still, I enjoyed the place, it's worth a visit if you love waffles. Place was clean and with a nice atmosphere.
