We used to really like Tiago when it first opened as all the staff seemed to be dedicated to providing good food and service. Nice pizza and good pasta.
Last couple of visits have been disappointing though. The sausage pizza is a joke for the price and practicality inedible. It isnt real sausage, but sliced circles of chicken hot dog which curl up in a most unappealing manner. They remind me of those little rubber domes from the 80's that you turned inside out and waited to jump in the air.
The carbonara sauce served with fries has the taste and consistency of dishwater.
Service has become normal for Beijing. Indifferent at best.
The atmosphere used to be really nice but has changed. It seems to have become an aspirational destination for the lower middle classes and their obnoxious children.
