We had a nice dinner here, roast cauliflower and grilled chicken were good, as well as beers. But during the meal, several cockroaches climbed out and started to wander on the table. Yikes. Pls find someone to deal with it.

Guess I should glean, that you are the type of guy who would rather blast a place on the internet rather do the man approach and find the manager, no respect for folks who seek to raise doubt in an establishment for an one off issue.

No one gives a shit what you think Phil.

Mmm......whitty retort from the culinarily challenged...................

Suppose you work in the industry.................?

Food critic maybe.........seerer of all?

Like a bounced cop, turned security guard...........for the dump?

Have an angry eve son........

Peace

Ohhhh, maybe the boyfriend of the verbally hacked waste of flesh that went to a forum instead of making a casual, hey dude you have a few issues, nah lets get on the internet and tell everyone, someone had a bug in a restaurant in China.............

Help us understand....Any reason you did't mention something to the staff? Thought it would be better to tell a few thousand other people first and let them bring it to the attention of the management? Perhaps it would be better to wait and see how long it takes for them to happen to check the reviews on this site? Classy, verry classy!

I don't know where you went, but the title of your review has nothing to do with Big Smoke. I have been visiting this place almost every weekend for the past two years and trust me, NEVER I have seen any cockroaches, EVER! If any, I believe this is one of the cleanest establishments you will find in the city. That's why I find it hard to believe that these "several cockroaches" were wandering around your table. I don't know if you have a personal vendetta against this great place, but I suggest you try to be honest and don't ruin the reputation of a nice place like this.

In fact we did tell the manager and the staff to deal with it, and the ayi just came over and wiped the table with some rag.

In the interest of full disclosure, our offices at the Beijinger are filled with roaches. We're attempting to deal with it (but its hard). We're going to try some new sort of goo over the holidays to see if we can wipe them out without permanently messing with our staff's DNA

But we still go back to the Big Smoke a lot, for the addictive cauliflower and roasted chicken..
