Italian Wine Week at CHEERS

CHEERS Store 32 near Sanyuanqiao is holding specials on wine from that Mediterranean Boot this week – and this month, with Coppiere Chianti Classico, perfect for Mid-Autumn Fest Sipping, going at a discounted RMB 319 (down from RMB 401).

Italian Wine Week runs from Sep 12-16 with daily discounts on bottles for the first three days, followed by a free flow “wine buffet” for RMB 139 on Wednesday, Sep 15, and the tastings of the red Montepulciano D’Abruzzo and the white Catarratto Terre Siciliane from Angelo on Sep 16. Finally, the whole thing wraps up on Friday, Sep 17 with an Italian Night blowout celebration with cheese, salami, antipasti, Prosecco cocktails, and Bellini by the bottle.

El Nido Celebrates 11 Beery Years

It’s moved around the hutongs a bit in its time, but El Nido is celebrating 11 years of craft beer this weekend, Sep 11-12. They’ve had a series of special T-Shirts designed featuring friends of the bar that superfans can pick up at the bar during the festivities – but more importantly, they’ve got beer membership deals!

During the anniversary, you can earn an extra RMB 800 on your membership tab when you put up RMB 3000. The bar will also be revealing a whole new beer list as well as an 11th-anniversary mug.

Drinking Buddies Mid-Autumn Fest Gift Pack

If you’re looking for something tasty to wash down all those mooncakes, look no further than the Drinking Buddies holiday gift pack. Of course, just because it’s labeled a gift pack doesn’t mean you can’t buy it for yourself!

The pack includes five brews from FIERCE Brewing: Fierce Doughnut Pale Ale, Pilsner, IPA, Fancy Juice IPA, VBM Imperial Stout, and Cafe Racer Pote. You can nab it for RMB 218.
