Where to Donate Clothes (and Other Things) in Beijing

As winter truly sets in and temperatures begin to drop, times can get particularly tough for our low-income neighbors. However, you can always help those in need by donating any winter clothes such as jackets, gloves, scarfs, and clothes that are otherwise taking up space and could be better used to make the winter warmer for Beijing's homeless population.

Of course, any time you're going to donate something you should always ensure that the items are in good, clean condition. Likewise, you might have to physically bring your clothes to a donation site, as some do not have the option for pick-up. Here’s a list of places you can go that accept clothing donations.

Roundabout

Roundabout is an organization that accepts both monetary and clothing donations to support folks, and especially children, across China. In fact, it's not uncommon for those financial donations to pay for a new coat for a child in need. Their physical store is located near Maquanying in Shunyi, however, you can also arrange for a donation pick-up by reaching out to them on WeChat, ID: roundabout_donation.
