Gallery Weekend Beijing 2025 Is Here! (May 23-Jun 1)

Art lovers, get ready. The ninth Beijing Gallery Weekend will take place from May 23 to Jun 1! One of the biggest and most anticipated annual events in the Beijing art scene, Gallery Weekend is a multi-day event that brings together galleries, artists, curators, critics, and other art community members from Beijing, across China, and from around the world to share and explore the best in contemporary art in Beijing. There will be featured exhibitions, entry fee discounts, forums, workshops, special events, an “Art Store,” and other fun activities. In addition to this, VIP ticket-holders get free entry into participating galleries and non-profit institutions, special VIP discounts, access to special events and guided tours, after-parties, and even more perks. 

This impressive undertaking is at the forefront of Chinese contemporary artistic exploration, pushing past existing boundaries of creative expression and ensuring Beijing’s place in the international artistic community.

Exhibition Pass Details

There are two exhibition passes available for purchase. 

Pass 1

  • Entry to 12 exhibitions for RMB 188 (RMB 500 value).
  • Pass 1 can be purchased now until Jun 1 at 3.30pm. It is valid Mon-Sun* from 10am to 6pm (last admission at 5.30pm), from time of purchase until Jun 1. *Note: Some venues are closed on Mondays.

Pass 2

  • Entry to nine (9) exhibitions for RMB 148 (RMB 378 value).
  • Pass 2 can be purchased now until Jun 15 at 3.30pm. It is valid Mon-Sun* from 10am to 6pm (last admission at 5.30pm), from time of purchase until Jun 15. *Note: Some venues are closed on Mondays.

After purchasing a pass, present your ticket purchase QR code to the front desk staff at 798Cube to be issued paper passes. Then take your paper passes to the front desks of the participating galleries for verification and entry.

Please note that there are no refunds. Passes are void after the validity period. After using a pass at a participating venue, the venue may not be re-entered on the same pass.

Children under 1.2m enter free accompanied by an adult. One ticket-free child per one adult. Additional children require a ticket. Children younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Founded in 2017, Gallery Weekend Beijing is committed to establishing an international contemporary art dialogue and promotion platform with a pioneering and professional attitude.
