A Few Spots To Celebrate the 4th of July in Beijing

This Friday is the 4th of July, aka American Independence Day, and whether you are American or just fancy an excuse to party it up USA style, here are a few spots you can celebrate at in the capital.

Summer Cookout Sets at The Local

To celebrate the 4th of July, The Local will be putting on special Summer Cookout Sets from 4pm to 10pm, Jul 4-6. They have BBQ Rib Sets (RMB 788) designed for four to five people, Individual BBQ Rib Sets (RMB 168) and Individual Burger Sets (RMB 88), where you can choose between a cheeseburger or a plant-based burger.

All of the sets come with a range of sides, including roasted corn on the cob with avocado lime crema, fries with chipotle mayo, fresh watermelon, and broccoli salad. Plus, they also come with a complimentary 500ml Session IPA or German-Style Wheat Beer from Sonhonshin Brewery. For non-drinkers, you can opt for a soft drink instead. 4th of July Party at Home Plate 

Home Plate will be putting on a 4th of July Party on Friday at their Sanlitun Location. The party will feature live music from 9pm to 11pm, with classic rock & soul & blues sounds in store. There will also be an all-day BOGO happy hour on two signature cocktails: Frozen Margaritas and Mint Berry Crush. They'll also, of course, have all their usual range of delicious American BBQ to chow down on. You can reserve a spot by scanning the QR code in the poster above.

AmCham China's 2025 America's BBQ & Family Day Festivities

Lastly, the American Chamber of Commerce will be throwing their annual American BBQ & Family Day Festivities in celebration of the 4th of July. So that they can make a full day out of it, it'll be taking place on Jul 5 from 4pm to 8pm at the rooftop garden of the Kerry Hotel. The party includes all-you-can-eat and drink and they’ll have tons of American food, chilled beer, wine, family-friendly activities, a live band and a raffle.

AmCham China's 2025 America's BBQ & Family Day Festivities will be taking place from 4pm to 8pm on Jul 5 at the Kerry Hotel rooftop garden. Adult tickets are RMB 450 for members and RMB 550 for non-members, child tickets (ages 5-12) are RMB 250, and a family package (available for members only) is RMB 980.
