Updated List of (Not Sold-Out) Christmas Markets
The annual German Christmas Charity Bazaar sold out in a mere couple of minutes, and if you didn't manage to snag tickets, don't worry! There are still plenty of other upcoming Christmas markets in Beijing that you can go to instead. Here's an updated list of all the Christmas markets that we've managed to find information about in Beijing so far. We've listed them in chronological order so that you can plan accordingly and, if you so wish, even attend one every weekend between now and Christmas!
Village de Noël Christmas Market at Flo
The annual French-themed Village de Noël Christmas Market at Maison FLO returns to Beijing tomorrow (Nov 22) and then takes place every weekend from 11am to 7pm until Dec 21. The market has everything from food and drink to handicrafts, plus live entertainment and activities, the latter two of which you can see more about in the poster below. Tickets are RMB 29.9/person and can be pruchased by scanning the QR code in the poster above. You can read more about the market here.

WAB Winter Market
The Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) will be hosting their Winter Market tomorrow (Nov 22), from 10am to 3pm at WAB Elementary School. You can expect a cozy market filled with handcrafted jewelry, eco-friendly goods and art by local creators along with unique holiday gifts. There will also be plenty of home-cooked dishes from around the world to enjoy, as well as exciting games and prizes for kids, plus the Winter Market Raffle, with over RMB 300,000 worth of prizes donated by community sponsors. Entry to the market is free.

Danish Embassy Christmas Market
The Danish Embassy will be putting on a Christmas Market next Wednesday (Nov 26) from 5pm to 8pm in collaboration with the Danish Chamber of Commerce. At the market, you can expect a welcoming hygge atmosphere with lots of traditional Danish dishes and snacks, Carlsberg beer and a range of Christmas gifts from both Denmark and local brands, along with some Danish market products. They'll also have LEGO building workshops for both adults and children. Tickets are free but are on a lottery-based system. To be in with a chance of getting one, you need to comment on this post from the Danish Embassy stating why you want to attend the market, along with a separate comment with your contact information: name, phone number, email and ID number (this comment won't be made public).

Christmas Markets at The Factory
The Factory will be putting on the first of their many Christmas markets on Sat, Nov 30. They'll be decking out the venue with lights, a Christmas tree and other festive decorations to start the holiday season with a bang. Their first market will include a visit from Dongbei Santa, local arts and handicrafts, kids' workshops and winter tipples for the adults. They'll then have subsequent markets every Sunday until Dec 21, plus a special market in collaboration with Rumble in the Jumble on Sat, Dec 20 (more on that later). Each of their Christmas markets will feature a range of locally based artists' handmade products, including jewellery, food, artwork, fragrances, toys, gifts and more.

BSB Shunyi Winter Fair & German Market
The British School of Beijing (BSB) will have their Winter Fair and German Market on Sat, Dec 6, from 3pm to 7pm at their Shunyi campus. The family-friendly event recreates the cozy charm of a traditional German Christmas market, complete with wooden huts, handcrafted gifts, hot food, fresh waffles, rich hot chocolate and mulled wine. Throughout the day, there will also be festive student performances, the lighting of the Christmas tree, and fun games for kids, plus the opportunity to meet Santa himself. BSB Sanlitun Christmas Cracker
For those who don't live in Shunyi, The British School of Beijing will also be putting on their BSB Christmas Cracker at their Sanlitun campus on Sat, Dec 6, from 10am to 2pm. It will be the perfect market for families with children, and you can expect all sorts of games, a raffle, baked goods and more on offer throughout the event. Entry to the market is free.

British Christmas Market
The British Christmas Market will be taking place on Sat, Dec 6, at the British Ambassador's Residence from 9am to noon, 1pm to 4pm and 5pm to 9pm. Jointly organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in China and the British Embassy in Beijing, the market captures the cozy charm of a traditional British Christmas with over 50 vendors offering mulled wine, ginger beer, handicrafts, Christmas gifts, festive decorations and more. Tickets are RMB 120 (free for children under 3) and go on sale on Nov 24, and they'll release further details in a WeChat post in the morning of that day. They normally sell out pretty quickly, so be sure to follow the British Chamber of Commerce's official WeChat account (BritChamCN) for the latest news.

CISB Charity Bazaar
The Canadian International School of Beijing (CISB) will be putting on their annual Charity Bazaar on Sat, Dec 6 from 10am to 3pm. They will have a range of stalls selling holiday gifts, arts, crafts, jewellery and food and drinks, as well as arts a live art auction, stage performances and a raffle. All proceeds from the bazaar will be donated to the Beijing One Sphere Heart Charity Foundation. Entry to the bazaar is free and you can read more about it here.

YCIS Christmas Fair
The Yew Chung International School (YCIS) will be having a Christmas Fair on Sun, Dec 7, from 10am to 3pm. The market offers a fun day out for the whole family featuring unique gifts made by their talented students and local artisans, festive food and treats, plus live musical performances from YCIS students. The Christmas Fair is free to attend.

Burokori Winter Market at The Grand Summit
Burokori will be putting on a special winter edition of their regular market at The Grand Summit from Dec 12 to 14 and 19 to 21 from noon until 6pm. You can expect a range of baked goods, tea, wine, arts and crafts, Christmas decorations, jewelry and so much more! The market is free to attend (please note the QR code in the poster is for vendors to sign up.)

The Hutong Winter Fayre
The Hutong's annual Winter Fayre will be back on Sat, Dec 13, from 11am to 5pm at their cozy Beixinqiao courtyard. The fayre will be full of festive fun with a range of vendors selling arts, crafts, gifts, food and more, plus their delicious mulled wine. The Winter Fayre is free to attend.

Nigeria Christmas Carnival
There will be a special Nigeria Christmas Carnival at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Sun, Dec 14, from 10am to 6pm. At the carnival, you're invited to step into a vibrant “global village” where there will be a range of international cuisines, hands-on activities, African drum and dance performances and more surprises. Ticket details don't seem to have been released yet for the event, but we'll comment on this post if a link becomes available.

A Winter Market of Wonder at WF Central
This year, to save you from having to battle the bitter cold, WF Central has moved their Winter Market of Wonder indoors. It'll be taking place on the third floor of the mall from Dec 19 to 21 and from Dec 24 to 28 from 11am to 9pm. They'll have a range of food and drinks, including mulled wine, and there will also be a variety of arts, crafts and other gifts available from an array of independent designers.

Rumble in the Jumble's Santa's Sunny Paradise at The Factory
Rumble in the Jumble will be putting on their annual Santa's Sunny Paradise bazaar at The Factory on Sat, Dec 20. As it's happening the weekend before Christmas, it's the perfect place to pick up any last-minute gifts you might need. There will be a range of local Beijing artisans selling their wares, food and drinks, and the one and only Father Christmas will make an appearance. The event is free to attend and also pet-friendly, so feel free to bring along your fur baby!
