Centred around this year's Earth Day theme, "Our Power, Our Planet," this year's British Chamber Earth Day event will focus on clean energy and its impact on growing sustainable economies. Together with member businesses and academics, we'll explore how the clean energy agenda has been affected by geopolitical headwinds, research advancements, and recent efforts between the UK and China to collaborate on green energy.

Our data-driven Trends Update: ESG and Business in the Trump Era presentation will kick off the evening with a macro update on the state of ESG initiatives in 2025, considering major trends in corporate social responsibility and sustainability, in light of many major organisations reducing their commitment in these areas.

The panel discussion on Growing Economies, Growing Green Energy, will look at how the clean energy agenda is developing in the UK and China, particularly in light of last month's UK-China Energy Dialogue. With energy firms, businesses, and leading academics, we'll be looking at how the two nations are approaching clean energy and ensuring a just, equitable transition for businesses and populations alike.

Tickets are RMB 100 for BritCham members and RMB 200 for non-members. Tickets include a drink and snacks during our networking after the panel discussion.
