Presentation skills are important because they help you share your ideas clearly and confidently with others. In school, good presentation skills make it easier to explain your projects and show what you’ve learned to your teachers and classmates. This helps you do well in your classes and makes learning more fun and interactive.

In social settings, being able to present well means you can tell stories, share interesting information, and talk to groups of friends or family without feeling nervous. Good presentation skills help you communicate better, making it easier to make new friends and work well with others.

When students may have accumulated a vast amount of knowledge, they may have achieved high exam scores to show for it. However, if these students do not have the presentation skills to communicate effectively and compellingly, their message however logical it maybe could be lost. Presentation skills is the last mile of the efforts to convince the teachers, fellow students, college interviewers, scholarship organizer, job interviewers or any other audience of a given message, proposal, or one’s capabilities. A quantum computer is a super powerful type of computer that uses special rules from physics called quantum mechanics. Unlike regular computers that use bits (like tiny switches) to represent data as 0s or 1s, quantum computers use quantum bits or qubits. Breast milk is the ideal food for babies as it provides nutrients, antibodies, and promotes healthy growth and development. Amazingly, the nutritional content of breast milk changes as the baby grows and matures. La Leche League (LLL) International is a global organization that provides information, encouragement, and support regarding breastfeeding to all interested mothers.

Beijing United Family Hospital and LLL have a long relationship that spans more than 20 years. Back then, LLL meetings would happen in a yurt at the hospital. If you remember the yurt, you have been in Beijing for a long, long, time! Pregnant women and new mothers really valued these regular meetings, where they could receive information and support from other experienced moms on breastfeeding and babies in general.

Monthly LLL meetings are free of charge. There are also some books on child birth, breastfeeding, parent-child education, and nutrition available for soon-to-be-moms and new mothers to borrow at the meetings.

The upcoming meeting at BJU has two topics and two speakers. The topic “Preparation for Breastfeeding” will be hosted by Guo Yan, and “I wish I would have known…” by Purnima.

We welcome all expectant mothers, nursing mothers, breastfeeding babies and their families to join us!
