The Jurat and Dark Lake band reflect the situation of this generation of musicians – drifting in Beijing and collaborating with musicians from all over the world, so the world music that was born is a blend of different cultures. Indie music from an international perspective does not lose its national origin. Their music is like a journey to the dark desert, the sound of an empty environment, as if people are trapped in dark secret, unable to extricate themselves.

See them at Yue Space on Wednesday, October 10th. For more information or to buy tickets, visit: https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/kbqLQgcjfy-KqR8doLuBHA

Tennyson is an electronic combination of Luke (21 years old) and Tess Pretty (18) from Edmonton, Canada. Although they are young, their band has been around for six years, and they have been playing music their whole lives.

Luke's love of jazz and electronic music has helped him to blend these two styles. Tennyson has their own method of making music where both the rhythm and structure are delicate. They have cleverly broken the structure of traditional music and presented a comfortable harmony.
