Mojohand由曾经深入美国芝加哥和密西西比沿岸探访Blues音乐的贝斯手王铮和吉他手魏威组建于2014年的北京，是目前中国演奏Blues音乐的先锋乐队代表。

成军将近四年，Mojohand与许多国内外著名Blues音乐人有过密切合作，其中有：中国Blues传奇歌手-杭天；芝加哥日裔Blues吉他演奏家-菊田俊介(Shun Kikuta)；日本Blues王牌口琴手-Kotez；美国Blues音乐家-Matthew Skoller和Big Walker……四年以来由Mojohand领衔的“周日蓝调芥末大会”让北京的“江湖酒吧”俨然成为京城乃至全国蓝调爱好者心目中的Blues圣地。

Mojohand, as Chinese Blues pioneer and the highest level of Blues musicians in China, founded by bassist Wang Zheng and guitarist Wei Wei in the year of 2014 in Beijing, who has been visiting the Chicago and Mississippi coasts in the United States for Blues rooting.

Convinced that Blues is the source of all modern music, Mojohand’s making the repertoire across the entire American Blues history, from Robert Johnson in Mississippi to Muddy Waters in Chicago; from Tennessee's Albert King to Texas's Stevie Ray Vaughan. Deeply rooted in the traditional Blues, at the same time Mojohand also relentlessly creates new Chinese Blues, actively organized and participated in various types of Blues concerts and music festivals and toured throughout the country, 2018/01/28 Mojohand invited by Blue Note Beijing (the world famous jazz club) and did very successful performance there, Mojohand’s debut album <Dark Blues House> was released on 12/29/2018 at “MusicSpaceBeijing”.

Been together for three years, Mojohand has worked closely with many famous Blues musicians at home and abroad, including: Chinese Blues legendary singer - Hang Tian; Japanese Blues guitarist from Chicago - Shun Kikuta; The king player of Blues harmonica from Japan - Kotez; American Blues musician - Matthew Skoller and Big Walker ......

2018 just start, Mojohand as a warm-up band, along with the legendary “ThreeGrammy Award Nomination”American Chicago Blues Master Billy Branch and his band leader - has been assigned to “ChicagoBlues Hall Of Fame”Japanese blues piano master Sumito Ariyo Ariyoshi , took “Billy’sFirst Tour in CHINA”From Beijing to Shanghai to Tianjin and Hangzhou …… They made seven wonderful show in the harvest of high praise, but also made great contributions to the dissemination and promotion of the blues music in the China!

禁城之马

禁城之马是一支根植于传统布鲁斯和摇滚乐的蓝调组合，2015年由吉他手韩宇组建。他们的音乐以蓝调摇滚/南方摇滚为主线，加入一些当代的手法使音乐更具张力和蓝调色彩。

乐队成立之初，当时的成员们希望音乐玩得噪一点，于是他们把硬摇滚的成分加重。2016年4月，乐队进棚录制了禁城之马的首张EP专辑《殊途》， 8月正式推出实体唱片并在北京Mao Livehouse举办了专辑首发演出。其中热门单曲《燕雀》被收录于《通俗歌曲》杂志6月刊。随着时间的推移和女歌手的加入，乐队也逐渐淡化了硬摇滚的成分，早期作品也经改编重新演绎。2018年9月后，乐队还推出了两首新单曲。

Ramblin’ Roze（放荡罗泽）

RAMBLIN' ROZE放荡罗泽乐队成立于2016年，并于2019年3月独立发行了首张EP专辑《Old Time Revival》（旧日重现）。专辑中如河水般清爽婉转的曲调以及如炭火般炙热腾跃的节奏，裹挟着粗糙质朴的蛮劲，在圈内及乐迷中掀起一阵复古浪潮。正如专辑的主旨所在：让一切返璞归真，回到摇滚乐本来该在的地方！

乐队随即借新专辑发行展开了一轮小型巡演，并参与若干音乐节，有幸与国内外多支优秀乐队同台，凭借扎实疾劲的现场台风以及特立独行的音乐品味，获得了大量乐迷的好评与业内同行的肯定。这其中包括在Flaming Metal Festival（野火燎原音乐节）中与英国教科书级传奇重金属乐队Raven同台并获其嘉奖的荣耀时刻。

除此之外，新EP在海外也赢得了大量专业媒体及乐迷的青睐，全球最具影响力之一的重金属/摇滚杂志《Metal Hammer》对EP做出中肯评价，同时得到Hard Rock Hell Radio （世界上最大的摇滚电台之一）、More Fuzz、Roxx 2 Radio、Fuzz Heavy、666MrDoom 等多家海外权威专业电台媒体对EP 的推荐及播放，发行首周Youtube播放量已达到3000+，并在Facebook、Bandcamp 等平台收获大量来自世界各地乐迷们的赞誉与支持。

最初的RAMBLIN' ROZE 由吉他手Wake、老佟及前任主唱乔丹牵头组织，虽然在初期经历了漫长而痛苦的成员更替时期，但在这一阶段，这只摇滚新军也逐渐在各大Livehouse的持续演出磨练中找到了粗犷和华丽并存的老派布鲁斯硬摇滚风格。2017 年夏天乐队于Green Village Studio（绿村工作室）录制了首支单曲《One More Shot》，在北京沉闷的老派风格圈子中激起较大反响，获得圈内外一致好评。

The original lineup was led by Tong, Wake and former frontman Jordan. Even though they experienced a long, hard players’turnover period, they steeled their mind and sharpened their skills at the same time. After playing dozens of gigs in different Livehouses around Beijing, this Rock N’ Roll new recruit had found their way to the raw but kinda glam oldschool blues hard rock direction. In the summer of 2017, they went intoGreen Village Studioto record their first single “One More Shot”, which aroused enthusiasm through oldschool rockers and fans.

随着乔丹出国留学深造，乐队经历了一段时间的蛰伏和沉淀，同时吸纳了新成员：主唱Tone、贝斯郝宸希和鼓手王宁。重生的RR 将风格立足于更加传统和复古的基础上，意味着他们抛弃了部分华丽的修饰转而投身于更偏向70 年代的粗粝而原始的风格取向。乐队于2018 年末再次进入录音棚，开始录制乐队首张EP 专辑。新专辑在好友Vigor Records 和Toxic Death Record 的帮助下，于2019年3 月份正式发行，并随即展开了一轮小型国内巡演。

Subsequently, frontman Jordan went Germany to study for mater degree and the band got into quiet for a while. Later then , vocalist Tone from Demp Roverand Dressed To Killbassist Chenxi joined the band, and they also found a young but professional lad——Ning to sit behind the drum kit. The reborn Ramblin’Roze is rawer and heavier, which means they have put away some glam ornament and gained more bluesy and fuzzy flavor from 70s’rock. The band went into studio again to record their first EP album “Old Time Revival”in the end of 2018 and released the EP album with the help of Vigor Recordsand Toxic Death Recordby themselves in March 2019. Moreover, a small tour which win them great reputation around China was along with the EP album in the following month.

乐队由五位热爱蓝调音乐的BLUES MAN，于2017年末组建于北京，乐队以芝加哥蓝调音乐为基底，融合ROCK，FUNK等音乐风格，活跃于北京各大蓝调现场。

Double Beat

Double Beat是国内独具一格的女生主唱 Blues 乐队，音乐风格以芝加哥Urban Blues为核心，同时也融合了孟菲斯、新奥尔良、得克萨斯、路易斯安那等流派风格。乐队在不遗余力地推广传统布鲁斯音乐的同时，结合了当代新都市青年的态度与思考，积累和创作了属于自己语言的原创作品，致力于用Blues音乐来体现永不褪色的都市感。

乐队成员介绍：

主唱：孟蒙 Cassie M. Meng

她的声音浑厚有力，中高音饱满又粗粝，不禁让人想起Etta James，以及蓝调女王Koko Taylor，她在中国女歌手中难得拥有适合表达Blues音乐的完美声音。更被蓝调将军菊田俊介赞美完美诠释了Koko的作品。

她出生文学艺术之家，从小受声乐教授母亲的耳濡目染，一直钟情音乐和舞台表达。2006年，曾参加天津音乐电台“我为新声狂”节目，获得第一季冠军。之后，在09年快乐女声中获得郑州十强，又在旅游卫视举办的麦克达人甜蜜派中摘得了全国冠军桂冠。

之后辗转于北京和纽约学习生活，在不同乐队担任主唱、同时，积极参与一些小型比赛和公众演出，并在每一次露面中收获了大量粉丝和菲林。

2018年加入Double Beat之后，正式投入Blues的怀抱。

擅长Blues、Soul、Funk、Rock风格的演绎。

吉他：虎子 Torako

Double Beat乐队吉他手。学生时代学习吉他演奏，收集大量原文书籍/唱片，投身到对布鲁斯音乐文化与吉他演奏的深度研究。

2015年始，陆续邀美国蓝调将军Shun Kikuta、口琴手Kotez、布鲁斯钢琴手Lee Kanehira、新生代女生布鲁斯歌手Chihana来华巡演，与日本布鲁斯音乐界结缘颇深。

2016年短期渡美，用时两个月，沿行布鲁斯音乐发展重镇展，一路探访超40位一线布鲁斯音乐家，面对面交流并深度学习布鲁斯音乐，从而与芝加哥布鲁斯音乐界建立了深刻的友谊。

2017年曾担任北京现代音乐学院讲师，主教授黑人音乐文化发展历史，与布鲁斯吉他演奏。

2018年，参与芝加哥名人堂音乐家Billy Branch一行中国巡演。

吉他：赵琨 Kevin ZHAO

80年代末～90年代初，国内的现代音乐还在懵懂摸索期，他成了国内音乐界第一批新生代吉他手。

他出身天津，12岁开始学习古典吉他，17岁迷上电吉他后开始组建乐队。在天津新干线和燃烧两只摇滚乐队中担任主音吉他，密集的巡演脚步跑遍了全国大大小小音乐现场。

经过了青春的叛逆，1996年，他转投软件行业。但这并没有影响他对音乐事业的热爱。2006年，由他创办了在当时最大、活跃度最高的原创音乐互联网门户社区—--门楼网，成为中国原创音乐人的互联网根据地，推出了一众现在仍活跃在国内一线的音乐人。

多年后，因结识众多中国优秀Blues音乐人，开始投身Blues音乐的演奏。并且与乐队成员虎子、李恩训共同发起组建了Double Beat乐队。

贝斯：李恩训 ENXUN LEE

Double Beat乐队贝斯手，Blackmagic乐队贝斯手，蓝调音乐公众平台BLUESIR创始人、北京有间广告合伙人兼创意总监。

2010年某天，他听到了Robert Johnson的“Traveling on the riverside blues“，从此开始对Blues的探寻。

2016年，发起并组建Blackmagic乐队，专注纯正芝加哥Blues风格的演奏。2017年，与王铮、虎子、孙易共同策划并执行芝加哥Blues名人堂系列音乐家的中国巡演，首次将世界级Blues大师带入中国大众视野。

2018年，由BLUESIR策划、发起并推出“美国蓝调寻根之旅”系列音乐交流活动，第一次登上美国舞台与本土Bluesman同台演出。

同年，与同伴一起组建Double Beat乐队。Blues之旅仍继续。

鼓手：毛毛 maomao

自由音乐人，曾参与大小音乐节及演出上百场。自幼学习爵士鼓，擅长黑人音乐，放克，金属等多元风格。

从演习布鲁斯风格后，又将blues,funk律动实验性融入新民乐领域。当下青年女鼓手中的全面实力派！

Eric Allen

Singer / songwriter Eric Allen brings the soulful sounds of America's heartland to the Beijing stage. In the spirit of southern blues and cowboy / outlaw country, Eric Allen played to audiences in New York's Greenwich Village for years. Now he performs throughout Beijing in the traditions of Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earle, and classic blues legends such as Robert Johnson, Lightnin' Hopkins, Muddy Waters, and Buddy Guy.

Eric Allen (艾力克・阿兰） 为北京观众倾情奉献美国中南部心灵之地的曲目，有南方蓝调，摇滚，叛道以及西部牛仔歌曲。Eric Allen 曾在纽约格林威治村演唱数年，现在他将这些优美感人的心灵之声通过演绎 Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earle 以及经典蓝调传奇歌手如 Robert Johnson, Lightnin' Hopkins, Muddy Waters, and Buddy Guy 等的歌曲带到北京的舞台。

Over the past few summers School Bar has taken a handful of bands to Japan's Summer Sonic Festival to play to the masses. In honor of next month's festival, tonight three veterans from 2015 and 2016 gather for what is sure to be an explosive night of rock n' roll.

Set to take over the stage this evening are female fronted pop-punkers who are fresh off a sold-out spring tour across China Finger Family, freestyle hardcore rockers Laisee, and emo powerpop outfit fronted by New Pants bassist Zhao Meng and currently on tour Twinkle Star!

After three years of floating around Shenzhen’s music joints, m0tt releases “OK. Let’s Do It” to follow up “Live From Shangsha” and “Then It Was Time.” Reading from the good books of Wire, the Minutemen, PK14 and any other rock and rollers with guitars and drums, m0tt’s latest set of folk fuzz barnburners chew on the mess of the last couple years. 

Now, they're heading north to play Temple of July 13th to play alongside Unit.

作为当代中国最好的爵士乐歌手之一，长期以来她一直活跃在国内各类舞台、音乐节和大型演出活动中。除了在一支爵士四重奏乐队中担任人声部分以外，Jess还同时独立进行音乐词曲创作，并和志趣相投的朋友一起组建了名为 “唐人街”的电子乐队。与北京东岸爵士俱乐部签约四年以来，Jess的人声爵士表演广受赞誉。她曾与歌手龚琳娜同台表演，在昆西.琼斯的一次北京现场活动中担任演出嘉宾，并有幸参与了2008年北京奥运会的演出活动，还曾多次受邀迷笛音乐节进行全国巡演。

One of China’s best jazz vocalists, Jess has spent 20 years gracing stages, festivals and music venues all over China with her amazing voice. She moves between her jazz quartet, her singer-songwriter project and her electronic band, “Chinatown.” A resident jazz artist for Beijing’s acclaimed East Shore Jazz Club for 4 years, she has also shared the stage with highly popular vocalist Gong Lin Na, sung for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, performed at an event for Quincy Jones and has appeared for the highly popular Midi Music Festival shows all over China.

Daniel Brustman 有着20多年的吉他演奏经验， 近期合作过的音乐人包括格莱美奖得主、知名美国女歌手Hazel Payne，加拿大法语女声Marie-Claude Lebel，中国摇滚巨星胡海泉，中国民谣传奇赵已然...等无数优秀歌手。

Daniel Brustman长年在北京与许多不同风格的乐队演出，他在2005年组织了一支法国爵士乐队＂无名乐队（No Name Trio）＂；他是＂Afrokoko Roots＂的创始人之一，这是一支人数多达十三人的非洲爵士大乐队，也是＂D & The Hutong Cats＂乐队的创始成员之一。

Daniel Brustman has played the guitar for over twenty years. Most recently, Daniel Brustman accompanied Grammy-award winning singer Hazel Payne on a long-term daily engagement. He has also played with numerous other vocalists, including the French-Canadian singer Marie-Claude Lebel, Chinese pop star Hu Haiquan (胡海泉) and Chinese folk legend Zhao Yiran (赵已然).

Daniel Brustman plays guitar with several groups in the Beijing jazz scene. He started No Name Trio, a French Manouche/Musette group in 2005. He was a founding member of Afrokoko Roots, a 13-piece afrobeat orchestra. He also formed D & The Hutong Cats, a 1950s-style rockabilly band and Blackwater, a traditional Irish group.

Dan Callaghan is one of Ireland's finest double bass players. He graduated with an Honours BA in Jazz Performance from Newpark Music Centre of Ireland in 2010. He has been working as a professional musician for the last seven years and has performed and recorded with many of Ireland's leading jazz musicians including Leopoldo Osio, Dig a Little Deeper, Guiliano Nistri, Mike Nielson, Hugh Buckley and Richie Buckley.

Dan has been working professionally in Beijing, China since early 2013 and has fast become one of the hardest working bassists in Beijing. His playing has brought him to many cities in China including Shanghai, Hangzhou, xinjiang, Guangzhou and Shenzhen with Chinese and international musicians such as trombonist Robin Eubanks, singer Enrica Bacchia, pianist Alessandr Gilati, saxophonist Handsome Nat Gao, pianist Moreno Donadal.

Shining Dimensions is a new event series curated by Guiguisuisui and Aotu Space that aims to create an intersection between different dimensions of creativity: live music, visuals, and movement all mixing together whilst removing the barrier between performers and the audience. Taking place every Friday evening at Aotu Space, Shining Dimensions features a constantly shifting line up of musicians, illustrators, and dancers organized around a different theme each week with an aim to give audiences a unique experience every time.

The eighth and final volume of Shining Dimensions will take place on Friday July 19. For the conclusion of this series the organizers have decided to do something a little different: a round robin show. The premise of a round robin is that the performers set up around the edges of the space and the audience is located in the middle. There is no headliner, no support, and rather than focusing on one performer for a whole set the performance passes from one edge of the room to another, round and round, song by song, piece by piece, the creation shifting around the audience. The round robin concept was pioneered by USA musician Dan Deacon (who’s organized whole tours based around the concept) and was introduced to Asia by Seoul based concert organizers Supercolorsuper.

This is the first time somebody has done a round robin in Beijing (to the best of our knowledge) and in keeping with the vibes and energy of the previous Shining Dimensions shows we’re adding a couple of twists in there; while the room with be divided into four sections each containing a different musical artist, each area will also contain a visual artist who will be going to work on found objects sourced from the constantly shifting hutongs to create a mini scene that will start off the performance in muted colors but slowly be brought to life with pens and paintbrushes. There will be a dance performance at one conjuncture in the show that the audience will be invited to take part in, and then the audience will be encouraged to join the scenes and get artistic with the materials within.

For this final event we’ve gone full on with the line up, including some returning faces and some artists we’ve been longing to work with since we started the series. The evening will feature music by Lastboss all the way from Zhuhai, 4 Channels Club, thruoutin, and Nico & Rudi. The visual artists will include James Sserwadda, Chandoso, Shui Wong, and Nan Guazi南瓜子, and the movement will be curated by Duna兮子.

Needless to say you probably won’t have seen an evening like this before and you might never get a chance to see it get, so join us in the eight dimension one last time.

DDC celebrates their 5th anniversary with four nights of special shows. On Sunday, July 28th, they close out the celebration with a great lineup of rock and other musicians, including No Stay, Acid Accident, SWARRM, and Ren Zhi and Social Poetry.
