Anyone who’s anyone in Beijing knows the name and voice of Jess Meider. One of China’s best jazz vocalists, Jess has spent 20 years gracing stages, festivals and music venues all over China with her amazing voice. She moves between her jazz quartet, her singer-songwriter project and her electronic band, “Chinatown.” A resident jazz artist for Beijing’s acclaimed East Shore Jazz Club for 4 years, she has also shared the stage with highly popular vocalist Gong Lin Na, sung for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, performed at an event for Quincy Jones and has appeared for the highly popular Midi Music Festival shows all over China.? Jess is highly sought out for VIP events for Mercedes Benz, Audi, BMW, Volvo, Hermes, Ferrari, Tiffany’s, Bazaar Magazine and many more high-end brands. She is currently a resident jazz artist at Beijing’s prestigious Chao Livingroom.


If you haven’t seen her you will have definitely?heard?her singing on your radio, television and cinema screen. A songwriting graduate of the world famous Berklee College of Music, her jazz quartet and her original music were featured in the 2010 Andy Lao hysterical remake of “What Women Want.” Her vocal and writing talents have also appeared nationwide in China for commercials for GM, Audi, Samsung and many other high-end brands. Her voice has also been featured singing on the final climatic scene of Cui Jian’s 2014 movie release, “Blue Sky Bones”.

Henrik Jensen came to London from Denmark in 1997 to study electric bass at The Musicians Institute. He later transitioned to the double bass and became a student at the Royal Academy of Music on the Under-Graduate Jazz course.
Jensen now leads his own quartet ‘Followed By Thirteen’ which he founded in 2010. The group released their 2nd album 'BLACKWATER' in September 2016, which features Andre Canniere-trumpet, Esben Tjalve-piano, and Antonio Fusco-drums.'Blackwater' has received some outstanding reviews including the Guardian andthe Evening Standard.


Henrik Jensen's rich bass tone has worked all over world from the Blue Note in Tokyo to concert halls in Moscow while still keeping busy on the London jazz scene.
Jensen has a close working relationship with saxophonist Peter Ehwald from Berlin, they recorded in 2008 the album Songs Of Trees with 'The North Trio' on 33 Jazz and in 2011 the duo album Jensen/Ehwald, recorded in the Union Chapel (London) He is also a part of 'The Mauricio Velasierra Group' (World / jazz) and has recently completed an album with the band. Henrik also plays in the trio NS3 trio lead by Italien drummer Antonio Fusco and UK pianist Bruno Heinen, and they are releasing their debut album on BABEL in february 2017.
For the last 9 years Jensen has also been working with London vocal trio ‘The Puppini Sisters’, whom he has toured with internationally and recorded with major label Verve, UMG. Jensen is also soon to feature on their up-coming release this year (UMG).

In 2008, she studied at Shanghai Conservatory of Music for her master's degree in piano performance.


In 2004, she studied at China Conservatory of Music for her undergraduate studies in piano performance.


In 2007, she was invited to hold her personal piano recital in Queens College located in New York, the USA.


In 2010, she participated in the "Citta di Barletta" International Piano Competition held in Italy and stood out from competitors from all over the world, and won the third prize in piano solo and second prize in Piano Duet.


In 2009-2010, she was employed by the Conservatory Conducting Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music to work as a piano tutor.


In September 2013, she worked as the artistic director of the entire Broadway classic musical "Avenue Q" for a national tour.


In October 2014, she joined the pianist Li Yundi at the opening party of the Swiss Bank Corporation and performed together with the violinist Ms Yao Yu.


In July 2016, at the invitation of Tianli Times Culture Company, she held a piano solo concert at Jiaozi Concert Hall in Chengdu city.


In August 2016, she served as the jury member of BOYA PRIZE final of China International Piano Art Festival.


In April 2018, she held a piano trio concert at Lixu Theatre in Beijing. The following month, she served as the jury member of the HAN ZHONG Beijing International Piano Competition. In June, she was the judge of the Mozart International Piano Competition inbeijing . In July, she served as a tutor in the MEET MASTER Beijing Piano Masters Class and held a piano duet concert. In August, she was the artistic director of the finals of the AIYUE International Music Competition.


In January 2019, at the invitation of Beijing Symphony Orchestra , she participated in the "Appalachian Spring" Chamber Music Concert in NCPA. In April, she served as the judge of KUSHVILLE Beijing International Piano Competition .

Eleonora Spina and Michele Benignetti are two compelling, talented young musicians that come from a strong and varied backgrounds as soloist and chamber musicians.
Their acclaimed recording of Brahms’s complete works for two pianos for Brilliant Classics Records (2015) has been praised by audiences and critics alike: the most widely-read music magazines in Italy and France (Amadeus, Musica, Suonare News, Le Pianiste...) awarded this recording with the highest rating in 2015.
