Formed in 2004 in Canada, Cancer Bats are a combination of hardcore, southern metal, and punk rock smoldered into a lethal rock n' roll explosion. The band has toured and played festivals around the world and now finally come to China. Having shared the stage in the past with the likes of Billy Talent, Rise Against, Bring Me The Horizon, Alexisonfire, Every Time I Die, Anti-Flag, Comeback Kid, and more, don't miss this chance to see Cancer Bats at School!

The Twenties formed five years here in Beijing and are currently criss-crossing China on their "When We Were Young" tour in support of their self-titled debut album.

Having opened for The Cribs earlier this year, played festivals all around China, and veterans of the Beijing gig scene, The Twenties have won over countless fans with their Liz Phair, Strokes, Pavement inspired indie rock anthems. Striking words to begin his first EP, Hietrev set a poetic tone for the whole project with this song of motivation wrapped in brutal honesty. Help Up, through Trevor's (Hietrev) fierce vocals, captures the freedom of theatre and musical expression that many new artists fear to activate within. It takes the listener to a setting of a modern day lion king movie with the very apparent african ambience, syncopation, live instruments and the signature cinematic sound of his producer Kenny Leonore. Trevor tells us an encrypted story with Held Up, he reflects on social issues we face day to day in our age of technology and absence of true emotional connection with art and ultimately each other.
