6th time coming to Beijing, have studied Chinese for over 6 years. Self learned drumming for 10 years, played in the Chris Hopkins band last year. Music influences range from metalcore Norma Jean and Underoath to the dark polyrhythms of Meshuggah and Vildhjarta. Also loves improv drumming to underground ambient electronic music and rap beats. Makes dark ambient beats on SoundCloud under the name ZAOFU (造福). Enjoys bridging cultures through music above all else and engaging with all who come to shows.

The host's bio：

Thierry Trotignon has been in Beijing for 3 years. He has been playing with a multitude of bands of all genres but likes jazz the most.

Formed and graduated from the music conservatory of Toulouse, he was brought from classical music toward jazz by Gregor Villefranque and has since then enjoyed playing jazz from Toulouse to Paris, and now Beijing

Brought up by many teachers and many encounters, he evolved from classical to jazz with a passion he can only show put on a piano

Tonight hardcore outfit Curry 3000 hold their first ever Beijing headline show! Despite this being the first headlining show for this band, make no mistake, these guys are used to headlining. A super group to end all super groups! Curry 3000 is composed of members of New Pants, Mr. Chelonian, Reflector, and Human Centipede. Despite not playing too many shows, over the past year+ these four have been "studio warriors" constantly composing new music in the downtime between their other projects. The foursome now has hardcore, pop, dance, and all sorts of different tunes written. Expect a night of surprises!

Opening the night are fellow ska/punk/reggae super group composed of members of SMZB, Casino Demon Early Bus, and others, Underdog! Starting the night off will be Dirty Moon, dream pop outfit composed of members current and ex-Steely Heart members.

Should be a wild night!

Carsick Cars was founded in March of 2005. Their music is influenced by the Velvet Underground, Suicide and Sonic Youth, as well as the texture and structure of Steve Reich and Glenn Branca, mixed with rough roaring and tough open chords, which makes them Beautiful songs show an exploratory and broken feeling. In explosive noise and feedback, these songs reveal their beauty in a few moments. The four members of Chui Wan have different fun tastes, and the psychedelic is the intersection. Impromptu and colliding in the improvisation, adding other elements to the new psychedelic rock. The band's name "Chui Wan" comes from the word "Blowing Wan" and is taken from Zhuangzi's "Qiwu Theory". It is interpreted as “the wind is blowing, and all kinds of sounds are emitted, and then used to compare the enlightenment to the world.” In the eternal world, the infinite spiritual power is the inspiration for Chui Wan’s music.
