John TWINK Alder is a bonefied legend of the 1960's UK Psychedelic music scene, best known for his work with Tomorrow, Pretty Things& Pink Fairies. He released THINK PINK III in 2018, and has been touring 'An Evening With Twink' to rapturous reception worldwide. Jan.5th 2019 TWINK will be in DDC for THINK PINK 50th anniversary, Backing this legend will be long time collaborator Barnaby Bennett, Paul Napier (guitarist for Shanghai cowpunk band The Flood), Fabian (former member of Shanghai post punk band Battle Cattle and The Fever Machine), and Chachy member of punk rock bastard sons of Shanghai, Round Eye, who will also be supporting Twink in select venues such as DDC, don't miss this one.

Daniel Taylor is a singer-songwriter from Yorkshire in thenorth of England. He currently plays in the rock band The Harridans and folkgroup Future Vulture and the Absolute. His solo shows focus on celtic music and finger picked classical guitar.

Gipsy guitar duo is formed ofIvan Dorzhiev and George Margiev.

The main idea of the Duo is to getacquainted an audience with a gipsy music in its huge diversity such asSpanish (well-known as Flamenco), Russian and Eastern European.

The duo takes the audience on a journey through orangegroves and olive orchards; arid, sun-drenched mountain plateaus; caves filledwith gypsy passion; tiled courtyards with elegant, whispering fountains; anda history flowing with ecstasy and anguish. The natural sounds of guitarsevoke times past when people sang their lives because they dared not speak ofthem openly.

Together Ivan and George explore the range of emotionthat gipsy flamenco provides in its music, from lyrical ballads to playfulrumbas to the deepest of laments. This is truly music of the soul, but with aserious groove. And the audience is a part of the performance in flamenco. Asthe performers reach for duende, a state of truth and inspiration, the audienceis invited to reach with them, shouting out their approval and encouragement:“¡Olé!”.

George Margiev

Born in 1991 George Margiev received hismusical education at Baikonur State Musical College (class of classicalguitar), graduating with distinction.

George Margiev is a top prizewinner oflocal music competition between musical colleges and schools of KazakhstanRepublic and Baikonur city in 2007.

Playing with variety of music bands andperformers from all around the world he got acquainted with lots of musicalstyles. Being a classical guitar player George Margiev first of all was curiousabout flamenco art where a guitar is an essential part of the music and ingeneral the part of gipsy life. That’s how he decided to dedicate himselfto a flamenco guitar and flamenco art.

Ivan Dorzhiev

Born in 1982 Ivan Dorzhiev graduatedfrom The Rimsky-Korsakov Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory.

Ivan Dorzhiev is a top prizewinner ofsome other renowned international guitar competitions such as the “Virtuosos of guitar” International Guitar Competition inSt. Petersburg (2010) and the “¡Viva España!” twice – in 2014 and 2015. InSpain, he was studying flamenco during 2012 and 2013 in Seville, Granada from Pedro Viscomi, MicheleLaccarino.

Nowadays Ivan Dorzhiev leads anextensive concert work all around concert halls of Russia (Saint-Petersburg,Moscow and others) and abroad. His performances are recognized by internationalaudiences and critics alike.

Ivan Dorzhiev is a top flamenco guitaristand exceptional musician who is redefining what is possible on and for hisinstrument.

She has spent many years to go deep into Tibet, traveled around the Himalaya area and many places in the world to collect folk songs. The essence of ancient himalaya culture has healing function, She has made it to appear more music and artistic form. She has sung the songs with himalaya bowl, added satsang skills which she had learned from master. She has successfully completed many Himalaya soul bowl concerts in homeland and abroad. Mixed with soul singer's songs、rich and colorful music samples and many kinds of instruments, she not only performed the world music and soul music, but also worked together with many individual style musicians , tried to explore folk music、sacred music、electric music and experiment music etc, which made himalaya bowl music was appeared more possibilities.

She cooperated with many artists who focused in video art、installation art、fine art、behavior art and contemporary dancing art etc, tried to explore interdisciplinary、multinational、trans-multiethic art creation.

She has published the first chinese himalaya bowl healing album《Inner Shambala》，has proposed inner-spirit environmental protection and to create more clean sounds to reduce the stress of overwhelmed urban city. On Dec 6 and 7, Cui Jian who is Chinese godfather of rock 'n' roll will perform two shows of Another Space along with his bandmates at Blue Note Beijing, the first Chinese branch of the Blue Note Beijing, the famous New York establishment. Unlike his shows at stadiums, theaters and outdoor music festivals across the country, Cui will offer an intimate live performance experience for his fans and perform his songs, and some of them with new jazz arrangements.
