Chairman Ca graduated from Communication University of China in 2006. He has been doing illustration and comic work ever since. He has devoted himself to independent cultural awareness and development. He is the founder of Purple Toys, a co-founder with KaiZe for KIYOKAWA, and a pioneer of new art projects using modern technology.

2、石梦 Shi Meng


Mona S (Meng Shi 石夢) was born 26/03/1985. A graduate of PRC Education Renmin University of China. An oil painting professional in the field of illustration, a photographer, and graphic designer. BTW she has a small pub located at DongSi Er Tiao, filled with her creative ideas and special cocktails. You are always welcome to drop by!



3、刘莎 Liu Sha


She was born May of 1988 in Hebei. She earned her bachelor’s degree in animation at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2013 and is currently doing her postgraduate studies in Inter-media Art at CAFA. Her works were selected for the Anncey International Animation Festival, Stuttgart International Animation Festival, Ottawa international animation festival, Slamdance Film Festival, Florida Film Festival, and over 40 other festivals and exhibitions in China and abroad. She also was a judge at the Northwest Animation Festival in the US.

1、DJ Ma Gin Tonic


DJ Ma Gin Tonic is the singer and producer from Beijing’s famous electronic band Pacalolo. She is running a vinyl distribution label known as Fizik. Her music combines rock, jazz, folk, retro dance, and electronic genres. In 2017 she started her DJ career as Ma Gin Tonic. Her DJ show is just like the Pacalolo live show with a lot energy and crazy dancing going on!

Bye Bye Disco厂牌主理人+DJ


Pei is the first female disco DJ among the most popular DJs in Beijing. Since co-founding the Bye Bye Disco music label in 2012 she has won the Best DJ of Timeout Beijing Readers' Choice awards in 2014. Her natural talent for dropping the beat mixing Disco, House, Electro, Newwave gets the Beijinger crowd out of their seats and dancing till the break of dawn!

Mark began studying the piano when he was six years old. Originally a student of Judy Rodwell, as Mark advanced he received training from Paul Bissacia, a concert pianist who performs in the USA and Europe. Mark received additional training on the Organ under the instruction of David Spicer and is an accomplished musician on both instruments. Over the last nine years, Mark has traveled between China, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, and the United States, both teaching music, and playing church services.


Yury began studying the violin when he was five years old. He trained with the renowned Boris Gutnikov and as he advanced, received specialized schooling in the St. Petersburg Conservatory, eventually graduating with a Bachelors and Masters of Arts in Violin Performance, Orchestra, Ensemble and Education. Yury later moved to the USA, where he performed as the lead violinist in several orchestras, as well as lecturing for the Department of Music in University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He has performed as a solo artist along the entire eastern seaboard of the USA and now looks to expand his performance career in Asia.

Beijing Maurice Ravel French-speaking Choir
Beijing's French-speaking Maurice Ravel choir was created in 2002. For 15 years this group of singers has been performing songs from around the world. Its repertoire has developed around French songs, world music and classical lyric pieces.
The group has regularly performed live on stage in Beijing and other Chinese cities. They also performed on the Great Wall for in 2003 for the year of France in China, and for the King of Belgian's birthday, when he visited Beijing. In 2010, the group gave no less than 7 short performances within 24 hours, inside the Shanghai's World Fair site.


Since 2017, the Choirmaster is Ms Liang Runni, a Paris Conservatoire alumni, and currently soloist at the China National Opera. She's supported by Mr Alexandre Heuze, Deputy Choirmaster.


The 30 or so singers come from around the world, and speak different languages. Some have a long-standing singing experience, some are novices, but all are passionate about singing. Beyond singing, the choir provides a meeting between Chinese, French and other cultures. It makes use of the universal appeal of music, and its ability to break down walls between human beings.

Xu Chang


is the founder of Himalaya Bowl Therapy Inheritor, independent musician, and the founder of Ya Shu Sound Bowl Therapy Studio.


The Himalaya Bowl Therapy Inheritor was born after 1990s, in a noisy era, and was grown up in an era of rampantly information. For such an experience, she hasn't forgotten to pursue her own inner Sukhavati. Nevertheless, every one who embracing peace and has returned her desire to the prosaic must be the one whose soul has suffered scraped experience, and Xu Chang is the one who has experienced it.


Getting to learn how to piece together from ever-scraped inner side, so Xu Chang seems destined to walk on the path of healing others.


A few years ago, studied in a music school student, she went to Nepal alone for relaxing firstly, while she would have met her life support what make her tidy up pieces to set off-- Himalaya Bowl Therapy.


Since then, she repeatedly went in-depth hidden Tibet, travelling long-term access to the Himalayan region, studying of bowls healing, visiting famous teachers everywhere, in order to learn on ways of Himalaya Bowl for healing her heart and others.


Wen Xi is actually an album of healing that of both body and inner-side. In order to produce this album, Xu Chang has climbed through mountains, to all parts of places with the language barricade, searching for treat essence into the album, combining of various Himalayan regions of national colors. She was meticulous, from the choreography of each piece to the choice of accompaniment of the musical instruments, and to the recording, the post-production and the release of the album, she insists on herself rather than to rely on anyone else.


Xu Chang hopes to heal the impetuous and unbalanced minds of the people through Himalaya Bowl, with its ancient Himalayas musical sound of the musical instrument, and the modern means of communication. The album is more artistic and appreciate except its healing character, combining ode bowl sound itself to cure functional coordination with the music of the Himalayan in order to let more modern people concern for our inner nature's Environmental Protection (Each major element), and take care of our peace of inner side.

Join us for the first official gig of 2018 at 44 Baochao Hutong with a proper Jazz extravaganza feat ALEX CUMMINGS QUARTET.


Alex Cummings is a New York based singer and saxophonist returning to play with some of his best friends immersed in the Beijing music scene. His quintet will play well known American jazz standards along with original music that puts a twist on jazz, pop and rock music all in one which features some of the music from his upcoming debut album set to be released in February 2018.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, Alex Cummings is a singer and multi-instrumentalist specializing in saxophone, flute and clarinet.


Since the age of 9, Alex has always used music for entertaining and serving his community. Composing and performing for his high school jazz ensembles have earned him awards such as outstanding soloist awards at the N.J.I.A.J.E. State Finals Jazz Festivals, Berklee College High School Jazz Festival Judge's Choice Soloist award in 2009, and the Maestro Award at the Washington D.C. Inaugural Music Festival for President Barack Obama in 2009.


By the time Cummings had graduated Oberlin in 2013 he had studied with musical legends such as Wendall Logan Gary Bartz, Billy Hart, Jamey Haddad, Robin Eubanks, Dan Wall and Paul Samuels. Alex has also collaborated with his Oberlin colleagues touring with bands in China and various cites in the United States. In 2015, Alex completed graduate school under the mentorship of Antonio Hart at Aaron Copeland School of Music with a masters degree in music performance.


As a composer, Cummings has made contributions writing for numerous big bands on an international scope. Aside from writing for his award winning high school big band in Camden, Cummings composes and arranges music for leading large ensembles such as the Beijing Blue Note Big Band, Robin Eubanks Big Band, Oberlin Jazz Ensemble and Queens College Big Band. Cummings has studied privately with arranging and composing pioneers such as Wendall Logan, Jay Ashby and Michael Mossman.


Currently, Cummings tours with Robin Eubanks big band, earthTone and his own band, Twilyte Axis. Cummings has also shared the stage with musical legends such as Stevie Wonder, Billy Hart, Mary J Blige, Jimmy Heath, and Lew Soloff, among others.


As a producer, Cummings has released his first single for his band, Twilyte Axis. The single "VHS" is produced and mixed by Cummings and Arnold Lee and mastered by Tom Coyne of Sterling Sounds in New York City. Currently he is preparing for his debut album set to be released in May 2018.
