Singer / songwriter Eric Allen brings the soulful sounds of America's heartland to the Beijing stage. In the spirit of southern blues and cowboy / outlaw country, Eric Allen played to audiences in New York's Greenwich Village for years. Now he performs throughout Beijing in the traditions of Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earle, and classic blues legends such as Robert Johnson, Lightnin' Hopkins, Muddy Waters, and Buddy Guy. American onductor Michael Tilson Thomas directs French master pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America for a program that will include Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F Major and Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2 in D Major.

Super School Fighter is the brainchild of GeiGei, aka Gu Jingping, aka Quick Shot signer, aka long-time staple of the Beijing music scene. For the past 4+ years she has been booking gigs at School via her Super School Fighter project, and over the last couple years has settled into booking almost every Thursday evening show at School. Starting last summer SSF expanded beyond Beijing, and now books weekly/monthly shows in Shanghai, Chengdu, Xiamen, Wuhan, and elsewhere around China as well.
