Influenced by Funk, Jazz and Groove mixed with Electronic music, Shtuby is constantly active in the world of electronic music technology with a great passion to live instruments, thus creating a unique hypnotizing show.


Shtuby avoides being captured under specific musical style or genre, together with a band he starts a journey that some times feels like multiplayer concert and at times like a wild party. Shtuby combines many musical instruments in to this set, such as Theremin, Clarinet, Synths, Percussion, and a full band comprises Drums, Flute, Bass, Keytar and it all gets colored with bizarre texts.


Loyal to the freedom of creativity, the whole show is created in real time, what makes every show a new unique experience!


4 Channels Club (8-bit, Electronic)


4 Channels Club is a solo Chiptune/8-Bit music project of MaYao (The Grinding Ear's Guitarist) which seeks to put the Gameboy hardware to its limits. 4 Channels Club creates various types of electronic music and all infused with 8-bit sounds from a 1989 Nintendo Gameboy. Released EP <Baa Sin Fist> & full length album <Lonely Monster Planet> in 2017.

SaVor LaTino was created in Beijing in 2005. It was then that together with his colleagues Jose "El Negrito" Perez (Keyboard) and Fraivan "Concha" Aponte (Percussionist) created "SaVor LaTino".


Bringing together musicians from all over the world. Places like: Venezuela, Cuba, Ghana, Puerto Rico, USA, Portugal, and Colombia. They show a love and passion for music that make crowds dance and enjoy! Old and young, Chinese and Foreign!


So on March 20th, "SaVor LaTino" would like for you to come to hear their new original songs, and celebrate the 14 years of success and history of this conglomerate. We use this word because the many people have worked hard under the "SaVor LaTino" brand to make it a success.


Gilberto Romero
In October 2003, he had the opportunity to come to china to sing with the latin band "MAKORE" in a latin bar called "LATINOS". Until 2005 when another Latin club "SALSA CARIBE" decided to bring him on board as the lead singer. Since then until now he started as a singer and playing small percussion in the band, making crowds old and young dance and have fun, not just Chinese people, but all differents nationalities in and out of China.


Fraivan Aponte Barrios - Concha
Being in music from such a young age Concha has developed an expertise is the percussion, and is also DJ. He has been part of many renowned national and regional orchestras in his country and abroad, and has also shared the stage with world class musicians such as Óscar de León, Michael Font, and Sergio Gallardo. In the year 2003 Concha moved to China where he been working as both a percussionist and a DJ in the club "Latinos", "Buffalo" and currently "Salsa Caribe". I have been part of the bands "Makore", "Grupo Swing" and now with "SaVor Latino".


Jose Perez - El Negro
Playing all sorts of styles many from Latin, Western, and Asian countries it gave him the experience he needed on many music styles and helped with his personal compositions. Jose has been in Beijing since 2004 and spreading the Latin culture through the bands he's played with. Playing everything from jazz, rock, blues and especially Latin styles.


Christian Javier Ruiz
Kris is a American born Puerto Rican raised in New York City. He started his life in music at the young age of five playing congas at the church he was attending at time. From there he dabbled in many other musical things like: singing, beat box, drum kit, congas, bongos, cajon, etc. Kris has also performed in many places internationally. He spends his free time now gigging with his bands. A versatile musician he plays a long list of different of bands with different genres.


Dayana
A Graduate of the Cuban Arts House MUSIC Project, a Bachelor in Languages (English, Spanish and Chinese), and part of the National Academy of Cuban Theater. Singing in back home, and in Beijing since 2009 she has proven herself as a versatile singer.


Rolando Torres
Born in the tropical land of Venezuela. Rolando was always influenced by music from a young age especially rock. At 15, he started playing with local bands and kept doing so until he came to China.

Eduardo (Edward) Barroetabeña is from Las Tunas, Cuba. He studied music from 1997 until 2001 at " El Cucalambe " music school in Las Tunas and from 2001 until 2006 at Professional Conservatory of Music "José Maria Ochoa in Holguin", in the speciality of percussion.
Moreover, In 2009 and 2010 he won as a composer at the Jojazz Contest, a competition that brings together young talents in Cuba and in 2015 he won the Drums Solo Contest of the Victoria Drum Festival 2015 of Canada.


His ability, virtuosity, and versatility allowed him to play and shared stage with prestigious musicians and bands: Afro Cuban All Stars, Chucho Valdes, Wynton Marsalis, David Sanchez, Stefon Harri, and many others.


Carlos Enrique Veitia


Winner of the Second Prize of The JoJazz Festival in Habana Cuba, Carlos is one the most well known and talented musician of his generation in Cuba.


He has played with many artists such as: Bobby Carcases, Oddara Jazz Quintet, Ramon Valle, Yasek Manzano, Cesar Lopez, Raul Paz, Augusto Enrique, Afro Cuban All Stars, July and Havana C, KLIMAX, Michel Herrera, and many others.


He has Collaborated in several albums, Rumberos de Cuba, Eliades Ochoa, Maria Victoria Rodriguez, Oddara Jazz Quintet.


Ryan


Ryan, Bass guitar and double bass player has performed all over the world. In China he has performed on Mango TV - "super girl" under direction of one of Chinese best Producer/Arranger- TYZ as well playing on the "growing wild" tour with "Chris Lee" 李宇春 a top artist in all of China who was recently on the cover of "TIME" magazine. Ryan has performed at China's biggest music festivals including, echo, dream sonic, western china music festivals. This year he is also on tour with a Taiwanese super star Lo Da-Yu,On this tour he performs with many superstars including- 罗大佑,彭佳慧,张宇 etc. Ryan is currently working on the tv show 天籁之声.

Joe Longardner :Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana USA, Joe first picked up the saxophone at age 9 and by age 12, had already taken a strong liking to Jazz. He became a regular at the local jam sessions and by age 15 was playing a few local shows a month with various big bands and combos. He was even awarded First Tenor Saxophone in the Indiana All State Jazz Band during high school. Joe decided to attend Butler University and The University of South Florida to continue his musical education and eventually graduated with a Bachelors of Music and Jazz, and a Master of Music in Jazz Performance respectively. During his undergraduate degree, Joe was named one of Indiana's outstanding college Jazz musician by the Indiana Jazz Foundation. He also taught Jazz Band and Combo at Avon High School, part time, for one year during his time at Butler. During his masters degree, he taught three undergraduate music classes each semester which ranged from Jazz Theory, Jazz Improvisation, Small Group Combos, Big Band. Joe also lived in Madrid, Spain where he studied composition at the Escuela de Música Creativa and became an active member of the Madrid music scene. During this time, Joe also worked regularly for Carnival Cruise Lines. First in the show bands, and later as Musical Director. Since 2013 Joe has lived in Guangzhou, China. He became a freelance musician and worked and performed in many settings all around China and Asia. He was even able to be a Jazz instructor at the XingHai Conservatory of Music. Currently, Joe is an endorsed artist for the Korean Saxophone company, Kim's Korea Saxophone. For Kim's Joe travels giving saxophone demonstration sessions, teaches master classes and gives performances. Joe is also a member of the group Dragon Jazz. He is based out of Guangzhou, China and there he teaches, plays local shows and enjoys the climate. Joe has been a featured and guest performer for many local and international Jazz Festivals, been a guest soloist on many albums, guest directed big bands and composes music for a band under his own name. Joe's solo project and Dragon Jazz regularly tours with JZ Club and other venues to many locations throughout China and Asia. He is an annual performer at a few European Jazz festivals and other music festivals in Asia. In addition to being a performer and a teacher, Joe has many side projects. He works as a consultant to instrument manufactures, composes music for various setting, and is currently working with Spanish designer Josepet Bass to create their own line of woodwind accessories including saxophone mouthpieces, ligatures, clarinet barrels and eventually saxophone necks. Limited number of prodcuts are already for sale, and currently prototyping many more. Stay tuned.

Dmitry Strelianny Quartet is one of the more formidable groups to emerge on modern jazz scene, this project is a remarkably empathetic cooperative band featuring saxophonist Nat Gao,pianist Sejin Bae(South Korea), bassist Chenhuai Wang and drummer Dmitry Strelianny(Russia).


Together these musicians bring energy and a presence to every room in which they perform. Dmitry Strelianny's performance experience includes a number of Amsterdam’s venues and many others, as well as various premier venues across Europe. Whether a trio or a sextet, instrumental or vocal, the band promises to make your evening a colourful journey through the sounds of jazz, as well as leave listeners with an experience they will never forget.

Victor Bastidas received a Bachelor in Music from Florida International University with a full scholarship from the music department, and performed with artists such as Michael Brecker, Paquito de Rivera, Arturo Sandoval, Ira Sullivan among many. He also graduated with honors from the Master of Music Program at the Northern Illinois University, with a full scholarship from the music department as well as a University Fellowship, and was part of the Rosebud scholars group at NIU. Victor Has played as a sideman with jazz artist such as Steve Cardenas, Vincent Gardner, Sherman Irby, Adam Larson, Samuel Torres, Reggie Thomas, Roy Assaf among many


As the director composer and drummer of the De Paises Project Collective, he has recorded two albums in New York City, Guayaland and Canto Choco, and the latest record Tales of a LatinAmerican Traveler recorded in Chicago, and has performed as guest at International festivals such as FIA 2014 in Costa Rica, Jazz al Parque in Bogota Colombia, Cu Jazz Festival in Urbana, Villavicensio Jazz Festival, University of Iowa auditorium with the Adam Larson trio, University of Iowa with the Dan Moore Trio, Birch Creek Camp with the Reggie Thomas Group, New York winter Jazz Fest with the Edmar Castaneda world Ensemble, La Nacional Spanish cultural Center New York with De Paises Projec, Air Train Festival with Alon Nechustahan Quartet, Brooklyn School of Music Festival with De paises Project, as well as multiple venues with Chicagos premier brass band, Four Star; Two CD releases at the Gibson showroom in Miami, The Arturo Sandoval Jazz club in Miami, National Museum of Colombia in Bogota Colombia, Antigua Aduana in Costa Rica, Some venues in Beijing China, and the "Promising Artists of the 21 st century Program" in South America among many. Other performances include The Samuel Torres group at the Zinc Bar, The Ronald Carter Tour in Colombia, Steve Cardenas trio workshop in Bogota Colombia, The Fareed Haque quartet in Chicago, The Hollywood Jazz Festival in Florida with the Carlos Averoff quartet, The international jazz workshop with Sherman Irvy and Vincent Gardner from the Lincoln Center Orchestra, Clinic at East St. Louis Senior High School (Miles Davis High school), Rubys house of blues in Saint Louis, and US national tour with Grammy nominated group Seraphic Fire, as well as the play "Coda For Freddie Blue" of the Broadway Musical in NY among many. Victor also wrote music for "Coda for Freddie Blue" of Broadway play in NY, and the short Film Vanity in Miami.


Currently Victor lives in Chicago and Performes regularly with De Paises Project, The Chicago Collective, the Adam Larson quartet, and the Reggie Thomas group.

Piano:Sejin Bae is a Korean based jazz pianist, composer and arranger. She moved to New York City in 2010 to attend graduate school at Queens College. At Queens College she had the privilege to study with David Berkman, Jeb Patton, Michael Mossman, Antonio Hart and Johannes Weidenmuller. To date, Sejin Bae has performed all of the world including the United States, Korea, Japan and China. Sejin is currently living in Beijing and performing with some of the finest musicians including Anthony Vanacore, Natanial Gao, J Kyle Gregory, Zhang Ke, Terence hsieh, Dan Callaghan, Simone Schirru and many others.

Moreno Donadel, Italian classical, jazz pianist, composer, music arranger, educator


In his early age, obtained orthodox music education,and has studied with a number of top international musicians,for example Christine Meyr. He cooperated with world famous musicians such as Rufus Reid、Mark Murphy、Bob Mover、Enrico Granafei to name a few. In early part of his music life was invited to participate in world famous musician Lee Konitz's album recording and touring in Italy.


He cooperated with famous chinese musicians such as Langlang、Cuijian、A-mei to name a few


His music range experience goes from Classical, Jazz, Latin and Pop music. He has been performing Classical music recitals and Jazz all around the world,


participated in numerous master classes and International Music Festivals. He was invited to


perform at the 29th Beijing Olympic Games. He worked as arranger for BMG and PolyGram Recording Company and produced a lot of music compositions. He has been living in Beijing since the 1998, teaching Jazz piano. In recent decade he has been committed himself to the popularization and promotion of jazz in China .


Many of his students becomes outstanding professional musicians and educators.


He is vice chairman of Chinese contemporary music and Adviser of the Chinese Jazz Association.


In his music career,he won several national and international music awards as "Premio Internazionale Città di Montesilvan".In 2013,he recorded、arranged and collaborated with internationally based Filipina singer Tria Bascon for her debut jazz album entiled "Wanderlust",which earned 6 nominations and won 3 awards for the prestigious AWIT Grammy Awards.


Composed and arranged the music with the famous Chinese musician Liuyuan for the Chinese rock star and movie director Cuijian for the movie "Blue Bones" which won the Hamilton Award for Best Music Score in November 2015.

LIU Kai is a lecturer in Dalcroze eurhythmic teaching at the Chinese Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM). Kai received dual B.A and M.A. degrees in ethnomusicology and music education from both CCOM and la Haute école de musique de Genève. Kai studied fortepiano, clavichord and harpsichord with Swiss keyboard master Michel Kiener. During his time in Switzerland, Kai was also awarded the superior certificate for classical piano improvisation at HEM under the instruction of David Marteau, and attended contemporary dance training with Emilio Artessero Quesada. Kai strives to explore music from different cultures and continuously worked with a number of jazz and classical ensembles such as the Artefact Jazz Quintet, Ensemble Fratres and the CCOM choir. Kai also performed with many great artists including Multi-Keyboardist Michel Kiener, Clarinetist WANG Tao and Chromatic Harmonica Laurent Maur. In 2014, Kai founded his first piano trio with Billy Ge and WANG Chaojie and participated in CCOM’s 1st Jazz Music Festival. In 2016, Kai and Billy Ge co-founded the Black Orchid Group and invited as musicians in residence at the East Gate Hall in Beijing.

Liu Yue Trio(China)
With the first-rate jazz musicians as band members, Liu Yue Trio is about to present his original works in our Jazz Festival this year, including Wen Zhu, Zhong Guo Gu Niang, Guo Long Jiang, etc. They are all modern Jazz songs with a strong flavor of Chinese music.
One of the well-known jazz guitarists and bassists in Beijing; a member of Cui Jianʼs Band; the image spokesman for the world renowned bass brand Warwick; the strings spokesmen for DʼAddario. With deep and unique understanding of jazz bass and jazz guitar, Liu expresses the internal elements of music through his superb and refined skill in performances.
Since 1998, he has always been proactive as a music player in jazz performances at home and abroad. He has participated in a wide range of jazz concerts, recordings, and performances in a series of jazz festivals in Beijing, Shanghai, Northern Europe. He has also engaged in the cause of jazz education, by means of recording and publishing his personal VCDs concerning jazz-and-guitar teaching, writing jazz feature lectures for Modern Player, Guitar Fans and other magazines. He is now teaching jazz guitar in Beijing Midi Music School.
