After not having graced the School Bar stage for a couple years now, Los Crasher are ready to strike with a vengeance and unleash an eclectic set list spanning their whole career. Boplicity Studio is a recent addition to the Beijing music scene. Made up of some of the areas best Cool Bop and Hard Bop musicans, Boplicity Studio is dedicated to playing popular American Jazz from the late 1950's and 1960's. Composers such as Horice Silver, Herbie Hancock, Gil Evans, Joe Henderson, Wayne Shorter as well as many other great musicans, are the bands main influences and direction. Combining this 1960's music with a modern interpretation and performed by the areas top Hard Bob musicans will for sure be a musical experience especially unique every night. This is Boplicity Studio.

Matthew Parker


Joe Londgarner


Joe Longardner has recently relocated to Beijing, China. Joe has been living in China for the past 5 years performing and teaching Jazz Music. Joe has performed his original music in some of Asia's top Jazz Clubs in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul and Bangkok and has performed in a few European and Asian Jazz Festivals. He has an Undergraduate degree in Jazz from Butler University and a Masters Degree in Jazz Studies from the University of South Florida, both in the United States. Joe also studied composition at the Escuela de Musica Creativa in Madrid, Spain.


Doug Martin


American guitarist, Doug Martin, started studying music at age 12. For the first few years of playing he studied rock and blues guitar. His early influences at that time were wide ranging from Joe Satriani, to Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Rush, as well as Freddy King and others. His early blues influences naturally led him to discover notable jazz pioneers such as Charlie Christian, Wes Montgomery, Django Reinhardt and George Benson.


E.T. (徐广君)


Guangjun Xu (ET), a great talent bass player who lives in Beijing. He studied traditional Chinese music with his father when he was a boy. Affecting by his cousin, he started to study double bass in 1999.
Guangjun Xu was graduated from MIDI Music College; he studied Jazz music from many famous jazz musicians in China, such as: Hongwei Kong (Golden Buddha), Yong Huang, Ling Zhang, Yue Liu…etc.
Guangjun Xu started to perform on stage when he was 17 years old, he has been cooperated with many world well known Jazz music to perform the Jazz music.


Fiach Ó Briain
Fiach has had the privelege of attending workshops and classes with modern jazz legends including; Jeff Ballard, Chander Sarjoe, Edu Ribero, Jim Black, Tom Rainey and Ralph Peterson.


In 2015 Fiach relocated to Beijing and since then has been an active member of the Beijing music scene, performing with artist of many styles including Tia Ray, 斯琴格日乐,and 王韵壹. Fiach has also performed with many International musicians touring in China such as Laurent Maur…etc.

Monesque & the White Russian are an original indie pop guitar duet. One half Dutch-Australian and the other half Russian.


Andrew Little


Andrew Little is a folk artist from Dallas, Texas, United States. Influenced by traditional Appalachian and also modern folk, his songwriting takes an introspective, emotionally cathartic approach to the genre. He composes his music alone and his songs typically feature only banjo or guitar, but he has also performed his music with full bands around Houston and Dallas, Texas. Currently, Little is studying Chinese at Tsinghua University and has several revamped folk versions of classic Chinese songs he occasionally performs. He plans to soon move from songwriting and performing into recording.
