Cloud Choir is an experimental drone duo with the dashing good looks of a boy band. Richard Doran and Michael Cupoli have been recording on kitchen tables with releases on labels based in China and abroad as well as playing at various noise shows around town since 2011. By slowly building up walls of sound, the listener becomes hypnotized from the overwhelming feeling. You may come into a Cloud Choir event thinking it’s just another show and leave having an experience like you’ve never had before.

Sound artist, experimental musician and music producer.

His areas of focus include, but not limited to music, visuals, installations and performing arts. He mainly utilizes electronic instruments and computer programming for his works.

Working across a multiplicity of disciplines, blending art, technology, and music, MMS has formed a pronounced artistic, curatorial, and sonic voice in China's electronic music and underground club scene — Founder of the Plain District platform.
His unorthodox performance spans from hybrid DJ / live to experimental live sets. Sounding out the magnitude of contemporary Techno, MMS creates dense and intense musical spaces, from raw to sublime, from plain to insane, symphonies for the mind.

One is soft, one is hard, one is moving and one is still; "cloud" and "conflict" are not rivals in the strict sense, but they can't be called a harmonious duo. The juxtaposition of the two brings a subtle sense of dissonance and gap, which is the best embodiment of this band.
The band draws nourishment from various styles such as British, psychedelic, Blues, hard rock, etc. When creating, it does not stick to a specific style, but only cares about the music and its content, weaving the music and vocabulary into a puzzle and throwing it to the audience, especially It's those who want to define music.
"Clouds and Conflicts" are sometimes quiet, sometimes restless, sometimes warm, and sometimes indifferent. If you want to solve this puzzle, come to the scene.

R Ξ Π, a member of SILK丝, with projects in art and music as DJ and producer, connects the darker realms of Techno with an industrial atmosphere.
