[庆祝] Join Vegans of Beijing this Saturday, September 17th, for a FREE concert, vegan market, adoption day, and charity raffle! Eat, drink, hang out, and support local animal rescue charities while listening to incredible music from beloved Beijing artists and waiting to WIN awesome prizes from our amazing vendors. 


[礼物] The drawings will be cumulative, meaning each time increases your chances of winning! BUT you must be present to win, so you'll have to hang out with fur babies, eat and drink delicious treats, and browse local art and goods to pass the time in one of Beijing's most loved bars. It's a hard life, but someone has to live it!

Simone Schirru è un chitarrista italiano che lavora e vive a Pechino. Ha suonato in molti festival e luoghi prestigiosi in tutto il mondo attraversando Italia, Belgio, Stati Uniti, India, Taiwan e Cina. Si è anche diplomato in Master Jazz Guitar presso il Lemmens Institute in Belgio.


Attualmente insegna chitarra jazz e improvvisazione jazz presso l'Accademia di musica contemporanea di Pechino, si esibisce in giro per la città e guida diverse band a suo nome come Rooom e Chimera.


Come sideman in molte altre band. Per diversi anni è stato membro della Blue Note Beijing Jazz Orchestra (poi BlueNote China Jazz Orchestra) esibendosi con ospiti speciali come Micheal Mossman, Jaleel Shaw, Ingrid Jansen, Kris Davis, Conrad Herwig, Rudresh Mahanthappa e Mark Turner.

He continues his musical journey here in China and loves connecting with many musicians from around the world.  Playing as a duo with Kevin has been one of those great connections and pleasures. Styles of music include – Rock, Country, Jazz, Blues, R & B, and much more.
