Sejin Bae is a Korean based jazz pianist, composer and arranger who received her bachelor’s degree in jazz performance at one of the most famous and competitive colleges in Seoul, The Dongduk Women’s University; there she was awarded many scholarships to attend and graduated with honors. Wanting to further pursue her music education, she moved to New York City in 2010 to attend graduate school at Queens College. At Queens College she had the privilege to study with David Berkman, Jeb Patton, Michael Mossman, Antonio Hart and Johannes Weidenmuller. Ms. Sejin is currently living in Beijing performing with some of the finest musicians and many others at venues like the Blue Note, East Shore, DDC, Bricks, Jianghu, etc. and currently holds a teaching position at the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy. As a leader, she is going to release her first album “Direction” in the fall of 2020 with Italian based label “DA VINCI JAZZ”. She has performed with many world-class musicians including Mark Turner, Michael Mossman and Rudresh Mahanthappa with Blue Note China Jazz Orchestra and frequently performs in many music festivals such as Jz Festival, Changchun Jazz Festival, and Xian Jazz Festival etc.

Ao, graduated from master program of jazz performance at CunyQueens College. At the same time, he is a master from music technology programof NYU. He studied with jazz guitar masters, Brad Shepik and Paul Bollenback. He also studied with a lot of jazz masters in New York, such as Antonio Hart,Chris Cheek.
