Michał Ciesielski is a composer, arranger and jazz pianist from Poland. He has composed almost 100 compositions, was awarded in several international music competitions and collaborated with many musicians as a pianist.

As a part of our Christmas special, we are welcoming on stage Japanese drummer Takeshi Sakamoto along with Michał Ciesielski on piano and bass player Yuan Ye for a night of beautiful original compositions. Takeshi's smooth yet intense style will leave you in awe. So relax and get ready for magical music experience.

We all long for something warm each time we get caught by winter’s icy grip. A bit of Latin-American music charm could be a perfect solution for this problem. This Thursday J Kyle Gregory on trumpet, Douglas Martin on guitar, Antonio Fusco on drums and Yuan Ye on double bass will be taking you to the Bossa Nova world showcasing natural flair of warm Brazilian beats.

Unicat Attack! is a series of electronic music parties which combine live performances and DJ sets, with each event also being a release party for a compilation of original electronic music on cassette tape and online streaming platforms. The third event is being held December 18 and this time the Unicat returns bigger and better than ever with 9 artists spread over two venues from the afternoon all the way through to early hours of the next day themed around the concept of big sounds in small spaces. The festivities will begin in the afternoon through to the evening at RA in 798 with synth wizard/creator Meng Qi using his sonic sorcery to explore the dynamics of the room, modular princess TamiX conjuring some off the hook techno vibes from amongst the tangle of patch cables spilling from her modular rig, new kid on the electronic block Blackhoodie dishing out some moody beats and bass lines, and everyone’s favorite feline tape mangler, Loooooongish Cat stretching the possibilities of a what an be done with a handful of cassettes. Meanwhile illustrator Neko Girl will be veejaying during the event using the ground breaking live painting/animation software Tagtool to create visuals stories to accompany the music. Once the moon is out the party will transition over to Solo, one of freshest emergences in the electronic scene: quite simply a room that can hold twenty people and a Function One sound system. On the one hand it will be a classic techno fest with Chinese electronic pioneers Huang Weiwei and Jackson Lee bringing some four to the floor fire to the cosy space, yet they’ll also be some fresh blood in the shape of Dacheese, a young female DJ who will drop some melodic techno into the proceedings, and Vincunas, back by popular demand after her awesome set at Unicat Vol.1.

LOCKED IN’ is a series of club nights curated with vibes in mind, fuelled by sounds of the UK bass variety. With sonics spanning over a range of UKG offshoots together with Dubstep, Grime, Breaks and beyond. Our selectors, from the Chinese club scene and further afield will have you locked in and latched down to the dancefloor.
